PommyinOz just released a phantom. He's not an ITK journo but does a lot of draft stuff.

He had us involved in a mega trade.

End result;
Hawks: Barrass, 60
Freo: Bolton, 24, 40
Tigers: 3,11,14
GCS: Rioli, 30,58
WC: Baker, 6,18,28,68

So basically
Out Barass, 3, 24, 60
In: Baker, 6, 18, 28, 68

Then had us drafting a sliding FOS at 8 (after Ashcroft and Lombardo bids), and Whitlock at 20.
That’s awful slide from 3 to 6 and slide from 13 to 18

Matt Kennedy told he’s free to look for another club. Would he move West after a new addition ti the family. Free to look means he would come cheaper. Carroll staying?

Incidentally would have been very handy for GWS on Saturday night. Wonder if they’d take him back?

How is there 8 pages in less than 24hrs? Are they all just SGIO arguing with anyone about how it's not a rock melon but a cantaloupe and random260 disagreeing with posts?

Lewis Young 201cm KPD also told by Blues he can look around. Have seen very little of him but Carroll and Young as a swap for Petch might be worth exploring. Contracted until 2026 and Blues probably want him off the books.

Really hope we have a big crack at Leek Aleer this off season or next. He’s out of contract at the end of 2025 and GWS have their key defensive pillars set for at least the next 4-5 years with Taylor and Buckley.

A big offer could turn his head, I expect he’d be getting a lot of interest but I’d happily throw him a big contract.

Could be the heir to Gov.

paying a million for darling is peak norf behavior

Id imagine thered be other clubs who could offer Young some gametime next year, I dont think hes quite after a retirement/mentor/depth gig yet at 25 years of age

Cant see him getting a game with Gov and HEdwards in the side, and id imagine we want games into Bazzo too.

I think hes a weird one for Carlton to be telling to look around, they dont have much in the way of KPDs if Weitering goes down. They may have another target in mind, or maybe theyre trying to jump in on Barrass

Let me try and make sense of that trade..

60 for 68 both junk picks

3 for 6, 18, 28

24 for Baker

Barass for… wait there’s nothing left?

Sympkin and logue would be the least inspiring meeting of all time, we went from pick 40 to the deal falling through now

You think he's going for the comraderie and flag chance or the 3 year contract?

If we are wanting North to take all of Darling’s salary which would mean a token pick at best in a trade, then

1) We aren’t as far under the salary cap floor as has been suggested and/or
2) We have a trade target in the works that we need that cap space for

Because if we were struggling to spend 95% of the cap surely we’d be offering to absorb some of his salary to generate a better draft pick coming back

So another suggestion where GC gives pick 6 for Rioli?

My thoughts exactly.

Collingwood assistant Hayden Skipworth has emerged as the new leading candidate in a shock twist to the West Coast coach hunt.

It is understood the 41-year-old — who was yet to be mentioned as a contender — has become a focus of the Eagles selection panel.

Sources told 7NEWS he had impressed the panel with his focus on development, modern game plan principles and player connection.
