Because he had about 2 possessions to half time playing up the ground, meanwhile Jamo.dropped about 3 marks from reasonable chances that Oscar would have clunked. The ball then rebounded at light speed and resulted in Hawks scores. When we did get i50s they were either through a rare centre clearance or running and handballing. Our i50s were not going through the CHF so Oscar was not getting a look in anyway. I'd rather him there to take a mark or put on a tackle to maximise our I50s. At the moment we bust our arse to get an I50 and are kicking to a second rate WAFL forward line and the Oppo get rebound goals.
Youve really got a hard on for him dont you

Got a woody!!

I think we should be in a good position to pay a large portion of the salary of one of our aging stars, if traded. That may be the thing of strongest appeal to a club in the flag window. It may mean that they’re paying said aging star not much more than a first year player but with an expectation of immediate contributions for a couple of years.

There are few players on our list who’d be entitled to ask for a pay increase this year. So the money paid to the aging star wouldn’t be missed.

Jesus ****ing Christ on a bike

That’s about the stupidest thing I’ve read in a long time

I’d ban anyone who suggested that

Just looking at free agents list there’s a few that have been delisted in the past which makes them free agents that would be worth looking at not massive names so not expensive but definite improvements on the list

James Jordan Demons 22
Seamus Mitchell Hawks 20 very quick which we need more of
Riley Bonner Port 26 another with pace
Dylan Williams Port 21
Bailey Williams Dogs 25 Probably asking to much for what we will be looking for

Really like the look of S Mitchell. He’s like a much more polished Markov

We reckon we will go for Maric or Buller? Kind feel like we have the 193cm in Maric covered with darling, waterman and even culley. It's the bigger key fwd we are short on? Guess we have Williams but he is ruck atm and then only jack Williams and Oscar.

I think we need a bigger key forward with a bit of class, and that tends to be via ND or trade. JWilliams and Buller seem similar types and both big ? On whether they make it.

Maric seems more likely and more versatile.

Just a real interesting question to pose. Say WCE pay all bar the salaries of Darling and McGovern minus the cost of a drafted player and could actually talk them into going to Sydney for a few years. Say Sydney climb a bit (likely once they have some of their defence return) and their first round pick becomes say pick 12-13. If you were the Swans and trying to chase down a premiership that pick 12 for the 2 players plus ports second would be a very good deal for both parties.

Shit Darling to Freo under the same circumstances could very easily be worth their pick 21.

A shame that Amiss is looking good otherwise they might actually go for Darling

Bailey Humprheys first 2 games have been something special

Only just watched the Lions vs Suns game then

Hilarious how we had pick 2 and will (imo) not even end up with a top 6 player from that draft
Rubbish.
Ginbey will be a midfield brute. He's a Dangerfield clone in his size, athleticism and explosiveness.

Hewett showed some exciting signs in the preseason and the wraps on his talent have come from everywhere in the industry.

Last year's draft crop seems to be very talented and our 5 picks are very exciting. I think we nailed the draft (and pick split strategy) and I would bet most on here agree.

Jordan- Will stay at Melbourne i think but would definitely be an upgrade on some of our younger players currently playing the same positions

Mitchell- Like speed haven’t seen enough to comment

Bonner- No, No, No. Soft as butter. Would be looking at younger players

Williams- Super talented and have watched a lot of him. Can he take the next step? Not sure but would be interesting

Bailey Williams- Likely to stay at Dogs as have reported they are in contract talks. Also would be looking for way too much money than we would be looking to give this year

Agreed.

Not sure why everyone is sleeping on Hewitt. It was always said he will need time. He’s going to be very very exciting and Ginbey has shown heaps.

I genuinely believe Darling is the missing piece to Freo winning a flag, despite their forward line starting to function. He's been to the promised land and would help those young forwards around him.

But the Purps hate the bloke. And it would feel pretty icky handing them their first premiership for pick 21. The reality is the fans would think that's overs despite how much it would help them.
