I believe the dog was shot on sight at the border and the club subsequently bought a replacement and Harley thinks it's the same dog.

Hope Harely has trained his dog not to pee in public. ;) :$

And geeeeez. The backlash if he forgets to take a poo bag and doesn't clean up after him.

The way WA cops overreact he'd be expelled from WA......if he's lucky that is.

Going by instagram, Harleys dog is in Perth.

10 year deal incoming now?
Good news all round yaz is in Perth.

My oh my. First Harley didn't go home to vic country during break. Second Yaz returns to Perth. Seems to me he's all but forgotten being a mummy's boy.

Pretty sure both of them don't have their own homes in vic country. In Perth they have a home together

I wouldn't worry about it, Simmo seems to have played that game for years and nobody ever said anything. [source: Simmo on backchat]

Here's my WA list for this year

My top 11 from WA next year and order think they will go in draft at this stage

1 Fred Rodriguez expect in top 5
2 Toby Whan expect him to end up top ten after playing mid in the championships and dominating
3 Cody Curtin around the 10 to 15 mark
4 Blake Kelly around 15 to 20 very underrated has lots of fans with eastern states recruiters
5 Sam Swadling around 15 to 20 my personal favourite
6 Marcus Cassidy around 20 to 25 medium forward who can break games open
7 Judd Marcello around 25 to 30 another that recruiters like
8 Charlie Banfield around 30 + depends where he plays next year, is just so clean one touch
9 Wes Walley Around 30+ depends on his championships
10 Koby Evans around 40 mark
11 Basil Hart around 40 mark

Should be extremely good year for WA drafting, would be surprised if all 11 are not drafted

Will add Jake Caton as WCE NGA been so impressive in this training stint

Blake Kelly’s an interesting one, seems to have a few fans among BigFooty’s leading draft watchers and, apparently, among recruiters. In the little I’ve seen of him he appears a bit plain, in that he does everything but doesn’t stand out, but he does accumulate well. IIRC that’s not dissimilar to Chad Warner as an under age footballer.

So Freo might able to get Chad Warner + a top 10 player (Whan) in the draft this year and next? (Lucas Robsinson) ouch this could hurt….

WC get Warner with Hawks 1st(9-11) and WC F1st(4-6).
Then WC draft Sharp/Rodriguez/Kelly with pick WC 1st pick, trade with GC to get their pick mid 1st round 10-13 with R2 pick 22 and WC F2nd and draft Curtin.
Leaves WC with Hawks 2nd pick 29 and 2025 Hawks 3rd pick 46 for Banfield and Walley.
If 1 of Banfield or Walley are later than 29 pick trade that pick into a late 2nd in 2026.

Would love that but I can't see any world where the architects behind the pick 3 trade and 14 for baker don't trade our 2025 1st for Warner

Who we getting rid of to fit them all in?

as far as WC are concerned I think there are 4-5 players on that list that would be in consideration to be drafted.
Rodriguez, Curtin, Kelly and Banfield, Walley and maybe Evans, Caton as rookies
The list of players to make way will be Cripps, Jamieson, Sheed, Rawlinson.
Petch trade, Livingstone if he doesn't improve, Chesser trade if he doesn't improve.

It will be interesting to see how Corey Warner and Sheldrick go this year. If Corey has a breakout year could make things interesting.

Could trade for Corey and forget Chad and draft a top 5 mid and Curtin.

Then we would just need a ruck, maybe Mitch Edwards if he seems a mile off getting a game for the cats

From Rookie me ce
Pretty sure Garrison Kenh is NGA for us next year as well. He was also all Australian under 16s. 187cm half back with extreme pace which is exactly what we need
From Rookie me Central re Garrison Kenh

“One for West Coast fans to track as a Next Generation Academy (NGA) member, Kenh showcased electric speed and attacking instincts off half-back. The West Australian added substance to his flair with 79 per cent disposal efficiency as he broke the lines and crafted attacks with his left foot. Kenh was also resolute defensively, competing both in the air and at ground level with a solid, powerful frame”.

He seems to have grown 7cm since this post so hopefully the growth spurt continues.

another good young NGA, he looks like a Wirrpanda type but taller

Yeah he has that vibe.

Feels like if we can add Warner (our first and future first), Rodriquez or Blake Kelly (not fussy but realistically Rodriguez might go to early so Kelly would be good fall back with Hawks first), Curtin (trading up with combo of our 2nd and a player surplus to needs or Hawks 2nd), Banfield and Walley this year and a half back like Kenh next year who has pace and is attacking then we will have filled a lot of our gaps but for an A grade Ruck.

Just have to use our draft capital properly but that’s the big question as can’t give away the farm for Warner and still get the others. No way we get all the above without our future first and doing some fancy footwork to get up the draft for Curtin.

100% agree with your analysis.
My thoughts are Curtin at this stage is the standout KDEF in this draft, probably making him somewhere around 10-15 pick.
GC have roughly picks 6, 10(PA), 13(COLL), and their academy tied talent are Uwland(top 5), Addinsall(20-30), Patterson(20-30), early days but with GC 3 1st round picks they are going to need at tops 2 of them and looking to trade down the draft order or into next year with 1.
This presents he best opportunity for WC to grab 10 or 13 for Curtin with our 2025 2nd round and F2nd or something of that value.
Banfield and Walley are regarded as mid 2nd round picks, around 30 or so and Hawks 2nd round pick is around 28-30, if neither bids come before that WC should trade that pick into 2026 as we still have Hawks 3rd round 45-48 available to match 1 bid for a player and then draft into wherever the next bid comes, whether that is in the late 30's or 40's to match the other bid. Draft done and dusted, Rodriguez/Sharp/Kelly, Curtin and 2 FS/NGA picks.
1 or both of Petch and Chesser will need to improve their position considerably in the team or will be traded for a couple of 3rd round picks imo.
