I'll leave Buss and his possible fear of flying off this. Even the possibility of asking about him seems a BF wishism.

But JUH is certainly intriguing. Sometimes a player becomes so toxic in a given environment that a club is willing to take way unders just to get him out of there.
From all media and social comments, at the very least, he's having personal issues and external/family/associate issues. If so, he's devalued vastly from a year ago.

A year ago his price would have been 'A LOT', to quote the above.
Now his value ranges somewhere from 'wouldn't touch him with someone elses penis' to 'worth a decent high risk high reward punt at a drastically reduced price'.
Something like a high 2nd rounder. If that's what you pay you end up with a bargain, or (more likely) you end up with a bust and lose a pick in the 20s.

To be honest, I'd take a low ball punt, but Sydney is really the sort of place that seems to work well for these lost souls and would be my pick as best fit (as a club, not as a need).
To be honest the bulldogs are that flush with talls they'd be nuts not to consider trading him.
Maybe giving naughton that long extension wasn't such a bad idea

Fwiw another rumour from the Bulldogs board was Saints were going to offer picks 7 and 8 for JUH. Bulldogs were going to accept

Then they did their due diligence and dug into his circumstances and pulled their offer.

It would have been a very Saints trade if it went through

JUH, his acquaintances and nightlife are very well known in the Victorian AFL community. IF the Saints had to do due diligence to find out it is no wonder bar the one actually amazing team they had (that still failed to win a grand final) they have been nowhere for a long time. (Also no, not even i'm old enough to remember their GF win)

Interesting snap shot.

Would be even better if it split academy picks and father sons.

So every side using trades and FA to build lists Briz? Fancy that hey?

Looking forward to adding Warner and Curtin in the next couple of seasons to launch us into contending for the top 8.

A good example of Onley's strengths and weaknesses as a bottom ager in this game. His agility, pace and balance for a kid his size combined with an ability to win contested footy are exciting attributes, but the hope will be that he's able to put work into developing his disposal by foot over this pre-season.

Anyone else kinda hoping he re-signs with the Swans? We just got done getting burned by Tim Kelly, don't really wanna go through all that again.

Just been told Gov has signed a one year extension which will take him to the end of 2026 👏🏼 👏🏼

Splinters also running with McGovern signing on for another year

Article could either be verification that Toastie was on the money or, alternatively, that Woodcock reads BF and has poached the story turning a single sentence into a 300 page bit of click bait
