Was at a sportsman night. Lecra was asked about alec waterman.

He said he caught up with the team yesterday and actually asked about him. Theres was some suggestion that alec may want to head back to Claremont for another season and isnt ready to be re drafted.

He was in the news tonight, but I have my Bob Marley T-shirt on, and can’t remember much.

What I do remember is that he would like to get back to the AFL but if it’s not this year he’s very happy at Claremont.

3.7 clearances and 4.7 tackles a game says your wrong .
Have you actually watched him play obviously not. Had him in my draft league in 2019 and I am telling you he is soft as. Watched nearly all of his games and not a player I would want on our list. He can get a clearance and a tackle but when the game is on the line he goes missing. Can't even get a game for the Suns says it all.

It's like a circular reference, we all come back to trading Brander.

Then I remember he was an Eagles supporter growing up and from reports happy to stay.

Having a crack at the best we will likely get this trade and draft period.

Trade:

Will Powell for a future 2nd. Powell becomes basically our mature "1st rounder" for 2020.

Langdon - GWS Pick 53

Draft:

Pick 32 - Caleb Poulter
Poulter

190cm/76kg
12/10/02
Woodville-West Torrens/South Australia
Midfielder

Poulter started the season in flying form for the Eagles and has continued at a good level, with his penetrating left-foot kicking making him a damaging player in the middle and when he floats forward. The 17-year-old had 20 disposals in the Eagles' semi-final win last week.

Pick 52 - James Rowe
Age 21.
Height 173 cm
Weight 73 kg

Games 22
Goals 47
Average 2.8 / goals game
Accuracy 80 %
A small forward who can and has played through the midfield for Woodville West Torrens.

DFA: Alec Waterman

Summary
Will Powell (21 Def/Mid)
Langdon (21 small fwd / mid)
Poulter (18 big mid / HFF)
Rowe (21 small forward)
A Waterman (medium HFF / mid)
What makes you think a trade for Will Powell is on the cards?

How many games have suns been involved in where the game is on the line? Pretty much been spanked for a decade.

No one is looking for fiorini to be the game breaker or lead midfielder. He can play a role for sure. That’s all we need.

It will be interesting to see how our Restricted Free Agents go this year. I am hoping to see Adelaide, Essendon and GWS dig their heels in and force trades with the matching threat on Crouch, Daniher and Cameron. The destination clubs of Brisbane and Geelong both have multiple first rounders and cannot see their current club not able to afford the reported salary offers.

Besides, Dodoro when selling is a difficult case, GWS have a track record of getting decent picks for top end talent and I expect some tough negotiations.

It will be a shit show I reckon - especially with Essendon again active and trying to save face.

They should lock all the list managers in a hotel room together under the guise of Quarantine and not let them out until all the deals are done or someone attacks Dordoro.

Brutal on the knees
We all have to earn money I suppose. More power to you! :moustache: ;)

I stumbled across this bizarre website.

The fact that you stumbled across it says a lot about who you are.

The fact that you wanted to share this action of yours with the board is the bizarre part.

Good luck on the internet, don't forget to keep wiping your web site history, just in case you get spied upon!!

I would definitely chuck a late/rookie pick at Alec Waterman. We have no Beagles side in 2021 so he can still play with his Claremont mates while he comes off an AFL preseason and more professional environment. Make or break time.

This is the type of scenario where if we give him another 12 months to dominate the WAFL his stocks will rise and we might miss him. Would be interesting to see if he can cover for his lack of athleticism with pure footy smarts. Is a mature body and could plug a hole at a number of contending clubs for a few years.
