Would only last a few years until a lib government sold them off for peanuts

And then you can buy shares and be a part owner!

sobrave airlines “all our passengers are so brave”

There are some people who just don't have the capability to work from home. They just fu** about and can't resist the lure of the Xbox.

Are you monitoring me?

Yeh like those people that post on football forums during the day...

Doesn't matter so long as your outputs are fine and your employer is happy with your productivity. Employers expect browsing of facebook, news.com, adelaidenow, ebay etc. at work. No one cares so long as you get your shit done. Modern workforce really.

It's well known and common practice to probably work 50 minutes of the hour and 10 minutes browsing shit. No one gives a shit unless you are falling behind on things.

It's the people who fall behind on their work without supervision that become an issue that ruins the whole WFH thing. Hence WFH being a privilege and not a right.

I don't care how productive they are, anyone caught on news.com or adelaidenow is ****ing fired.

With people working from home some employers must save heaps in overheads. Power, insurance, security, cleaning to name a few cost savers. I assume people working from home have a designated home office and are claiming all the tax breaks etc.

When I was working I maintained a home office and claimed a percentage on my electricity, heating plus depreciation on computers, printers etc.

It's probably significantly more productive to do this than to try to work 60 minutes of the hour.

And better than either is probably 50 minutes working and 10 minutes doing something physical, but that's not always as easy to achieve.

Zero cases it is. I was worried that the streak could be over because the numbers were reported later than usual.

That's great news for those of us looking to escape this hellhole sooner rather than later.

I still can't see the actual numbers anywhere?

I saw them in the Age.

I'm just waiting for Marshall to say that Victorians can cross the border without the need to quarantine. I haven't been back to Adelaide for far too long

We need Marshall to help us out here.

I'm hollering.

I'm all for vaccines, and i'm all for getting rid of COVID.

However, there is no way in hell I am getting those vaccines till I feel comfortable about it. If I'm going to be forced, then it at least opens the door for legal action if it turns out to give me elephantiasis

Normally vaccines take an extended period of time to be rolled out with rigorous testing involved to ensure its safe. For obvious reasons that cannot occur in this context, but I'm in the same boat as you.

This is the vile neo liberal shit that holds us back.

YOU MUST HAVE AN OVERLORD TO BE PRODUCTIVE.

I try to maintain a solid 50/50 work/****ing around ratio at work.
On the very rare occasions I get to work from home I'm probably closer to Feel's neo liberal dystopian nightmare 50 minute work/ 10 minute **** around ideal.

I'm quietly hoping Covid kills the middle manager the same way that video killed the radio star.
You know, that guy that spends his time watching how effective everyone else is, while sucking up to their boss and bullying the actual workers.
#silverlinings

I work for myself from home these days and probably spend 75% of my "office" time working, 10% on bigfooty, and 15% moving around.
Hoping to get to the point where I can afford to do a 30/30/30 split :)

The good thing is I've totally got rid of the % of time I was bored out of my brain in an office pretending to look busy.
So happy that shit is over.

Only downside to working from home is I still feel like I'm shitting and fapping on my time and those things are best done at work on full pay.

I know technically I'm still getting paid but you know, you lot get it.

Just go into work to do the shitting and the fapping, then come back home.
Problem solved.

Yeah I don't actually have a job I just wanted to hang with the cool guys and talk about shitting.

And fapping.
