Not many people I know throw that word around willy nilly due to its common usuage being related to sexual assault. All I am saying is why use it when there are so many other options.

Other options like, killed, pillaged, beaten, hammered? Any of those could be claimed to be offensive to someone who has had a bad experience with some associated event.

The problem with Australia today is the apparent growing public belief that is your god given right to not ever be inadvertently offended.
