There is already enough people here with 'inside knowledge' on this board anyway. Its pathetic.

If you think I am going to post anything of worth on the this sad excuse for a site youve got another thing coming.

The only reason I am posting now is because I am sick of the raw deal Ben is copping. Yes he has made mistakes but his issues are serious and at the stage were he cant control them.

I am not going to post in this thread anymore.

But remember, you are all going to be disapointed when Ben is back playing. I know you will. Ben has alot more to give.

Umm, sorry but what is your source that the problems arose last July? Oh thats right its Woosha's Press Conference - at which he noted that the club had taken steps last year when the problem first came to light and that they had had concerns about him meeting his contractual obligations. Clearly, the club took steps, meetings with him and his manager and formal letters were written. Obviously, the club were satisfied that he took steps to address those concerns.

Your comments are baseless and silly and are just a glorified troll.

Try harder.

My source ... (from the same article I posted before from The Australian)

SUSPENDED West Coast Eagles player Ben Cousins' "private and personal problems" first surfaced last July, coach John Worsfold said today.

He continues ...

“It came to light for us probably in July last year and we sat Ben down and actually wrote a letter to he and his manager outlining our concerns with him not being able to fulfil his training obligations,” Worsfold told journalists at the club's Subiaco Oval headquarters. Although he refused to explain the nature of Cousins' "private and personal issues," Worsfold admitted the club was dealing with illicit drug use.

Geez, last time work wrote me the "letter", I took no notice of it either.

Oh boo-bloody-hoo. Poor Benny, he's copping a raw deal. When are you budgies going to stop making excuses for him and his bad behaviour. Do you seriously want your kid to look at that tool and his bad ways and think that it's ok? If you do, please don't have your kids hang out with mine.

Well, it's not like he had been given plenty of notice. Apparently, the club sent him and his manager a letter back in July last year. Did his miss the mailman that day or something??

You didnt need to mention the source it was a rhetorical question (look it up).

Woosha said that the club wrote a letter outlining Ben's contractual breaches and their concerns - if you get these from your employer and ignore them you are an idiot. It also spoke with him and called in his manager (who is also his father) and explained its concerns. Woosha does not say exactly what was in the letter, whether additional actions (other than compliance with contractual obligations) were required and clearly he could not mention any reference to counselling or professional help without betraying a confidence that all employers would be obligated to keep.

Your assumptions are silly, juvenile and thoughtless i.e. without thought, not considered, dumb. I'm sure you are familiar with such concepts.

So Benny, who got a "disciplinary-type" letter from his employer (regardless of what it said) and ignored it, is NOT an idiot??

Of course what ever is printed in the papers John Worsford didn't say it:rolleyes: As Ted Bullpit use to say someone should blow newspapers up!

Can't the AFL brains trust try and get some extra fixturing out of all this Cousins , drugs booze etc? What a team of bad boys eg Brogan, Kerr, Fletcher, Farmer, Krakuer, Carey, Fevola etc To be played on the split round, no guess to who would captain, but what would be their name? Who would they play against?

Yep, I'm convinced. Eagle87 is at least one of the biggest tools on this website. Condescending, rude, arrogant and in a constant state of denialism.

I'm just loving (read revelling in) the budgie denial and the way that they think he's going to be back after Round 1.

It just ain't gunna happen.
