He has incredible football IQ, there's no doubt about that.

If we took him though we have to expect that at some point he is going to open his mouth and say something controversial, and we'll be dragged into a scandal through it. The question is will it be worth it.

Wouldn't mind a getting a former AFL star in charge of the SANFL crows, I'm sure Heath Younie is doing a good job, but would like someone impressive in charge of the kids. Someone with a little bit of star power so the kids get excited about playing for him.

Sando hadn't coached a team in a grand final in the previous season, this time last year. Pyke needs to take a break now so he can start planning for the season for a few weeks before the players return. He'll probably take 2 weeks off total and then be full time without break until this time last year.

Sando went on holidays because he thought watching the MLB playoffs was more important than sweet-talking potential trade targets.

Aker yet to be 100% confirmed but has met with pyke.. was a lengthy chat and a postive one with both party's happy with how it went.
I dont mind this super player with a very smart footy brain. Reports has it he is grown up alot and really relates well to younger players

Pyke said he would be having a break in the next few weeks when he was announced as coach - he's been on the go since pre-season last year with West Coast and hasn't stopped since. We NEED him to have time off to re-generate because pre-season starts soon.

Not sure you lump Aker in with Fev or Cousins. Aker's only problem is communication- he has no filter, nor the ability to spin. He is too honest.

Put him in a developmental role and see how he goes. Just don't allow him to do any media.
