Here we go again. 50/50 Boys Club and jobs for the boys versus bringing in our past greats.
I like the idea of bringing Zoomer back to the club however not as a Assistant Coach
Development coach or skills coach maybe but not as a Line Assistant Coach
I always got the feeling that Walsh hated the media and interviews when it was about him, but I also got the feeling that he loved football so much that he found out he did sort of like having the ability to sit in front of a bunch of people and have people watch him on TV and/or the Internet give his thoughts on the team and opinions on footy in general. It also helped that he was always open and honest and capable of not giving generic answers, so it was a case of people actually wanted to hear from him too.
But he has just come back from a successful winning culture at a powerhouse club
Considering that Noble and Zoomer have a long association, no chance they could be mates?
I would have thought if we were considering Zoomer that Noble would meet with him in a more private arrangement

Would think development role surely! Just to keep him happy so we can actually have a father son
Who knows, that was my initial thought.... But considering we lost a couple of the development coaches, I would think zoomer could step right in
LOL.....you would hope its because he has the skills to improve the players he is developing and then the father son would be a bonus.
Don't know how I feel about one of our greats being discarded by port and then coming back here, always felt he had some animosity with the admin

I don't know but, have to admire the fact they were so pro about it! Although I did hear Bunji considered going to Essendon in 05-06 faaark that would have hurt
They were great mates for around 200 games
Jamo has been doing a lot of work with past players and getting them back involved in the club. I'm sure he's been working on Edwards too.
Macca isn't involved at the club on a day to day basis though, he's more invested in his own charity work, which the Crows obviously support him with. Wouldn't imagine it'd be an issue at all.
I ok with the thought of ex club champions like Zoomer in development coaches roles
