Toast CROWS get their man Don Pyke named Adelaide coach

He thought he was a walk up start to play in the A's. He sulked most of the seasion and hates living in Adelaide.

So he came to the Crows with a known Achilles injury and knew he would miss the bulk of pre-season however he still believed that he was a walk up start?

You really do need to stop making stuff up

ok

Maybe you should give me an infraction for being a lier?

Maybe you should give me ab infraction for wasting your precious time reading my horrible lies?

maybe you should do some investigating and find out Luke Lowden has an ego the size of Uluru?

Maybe you shpuld read what I wrote, he was ok and then when he started playing?

Maybe you should be careful Mr Moderator. You don't know what you are talking about from Kings Cross in Sydney.

FWIW

I will start to issue you infractions if you continue to troll

Consider yourself warned

By the way I'm from South Australia, you couldn't even get that right either

On Wigg, I doubt we delist him but I do find it hard to see how he comes into this side (haven't seen him play before). Just feel at his height/size, it would be quite hard for us to fit him in the backline with Brown and Laird given they're already small guys. We managed to with Jaensch although he's a little taller - did manage to become quite good and reading/getting intercept marks so he was able to contribute but the height of all 3 is worrying.

We've since brought in another few guys that will all push for the role of Jaensch's which is still open along with the likes of Van Berlo, Mackay etc.

Just feel as a small defender, there isn't much room for Wigg to actually get a spot outside of injury given the depth we seemingly have in that area. If he's kick as good as some suggest, would think we'll find a way, just hard to imagine on paper.

I don't think he does come in at this stage. The only way it will happen is if Laird or Brown are injured then he needs to make his mark.

I've had a few chats with Lowden, he's a good guy. Loves his dogs, loves a joke however I can see how some might consider his sense of humour as arrogance or ego.

He's not silly, no way he believed he was a walk up start.

Only passing on what I heard. Round 16 vs Norwood. Check it out, ask around.

I don't know if he will get delisted or not but I know he wasn't very fond of living in Adelaide 8 to 10 weeks ago.

Look - there is no doubt alot of different information gets tossed about and through hearing it 2nd/3rd/4th hand the context, tone, intention of what was said can be made to seem like two very different things were said.

I believe everyone putting up information here. I choose to most the time til I get burnt.

What is absolutely ****ing pointless is arguing about any differences in what different people have heard. It's going to be nigh on impossible to come to agreement and/or confirm what the 100% truth is.

Just enjoy the tidbits and make of it what you will.

This is the most off-track thread of all of them...

So what do we know about this Pyke bloke?

Haven't seen much of Pyke yet, will be interesting once players start returning and media interest moves on from list management to pre-season training to see how he performs. Would've expected more coaching appointments by now but I suppose a lot of people are making the most of their time off (weddings, riding across the country, travelling everywhere).

I'm hoping Pyke brings some persona to the club because I still keep recalling the way Walsh stepped in and with so much personal identity power, just assumed the mantle of dragging the AFC up to where it belongs.
