Ogilvie said post draft that we got Gallucci because of his explosive strength and speed. In a lot of the U18s highlights packages it didn't really show that - was more of a spreader - but he's certainly explosive.

I don't know about the highlights but every time I saw him play in the TAC Comp the things that really stood out was his elite straight line speed and evasiveness....awesome breakaway speed a real stand out.....set shot goal kicking was very average, missed way too many easy sots on goal.

Yep. Ridiculous.

Port should have black shorts, us white shorts. Would have been 10x easier to tell the teams apart.

At least shows that the AFL don't have a moratorium on idiocy when it comes to team colours.

What's the deal with Lachlan Murphy?

Undrafted last year from the U/18's. We've put him on our development list.

Did we rate him? I thought there was no player after Davis that we thought was any good which is why it didn't matter about Thompson, Shaw and the vacant list spot

Has a severe case of the Caleb Daniels in that everyone seems to think he is too short for AFL. Really quick though and a great leap on him. I suspect an AFL club will have a strong look at him for next year just on what he has shown in our very inexperienced backline.

Heard many say he is in to teach the kids, it will sound harsh but I don't want our next gen mids to play how Thommo is currently playing.
