Cheers CG and Drummond, :thumbsu:, thanks for the reports guys, really top notch. I wish I still resided in adelaide just so I could do similar, but since i don't these reports are a god send.

As for the players, I've supported Jericho for a long time, just based on his potential, but really, that support can only go so far.

As for Kite, I like the sounds of him, he may be a long term project, but by the sounds he has all the tools to be a decent player, just needs to bulk up and learn the game a little. Its pleasing though to hear he is being entrusted with the kick outs at norwood, that would do wonders for the boys confidence to have that kind of support from the coaching staff at norwood.

As for Massie, you'd expect no less, but still IMO a depth player at best, this is the year for our youngsters.

Walker sounds pleasing, would like to see him take a few more grabs, but that will come in time.

Otten very pleasing, he was one who really made me wonder why he wasn't predicted at going any higher, probably just a cheaper(in terms of draft pick) version of Ebert and probably the reason we went Dangerfield. Just disappointed we didn't see him in the MM cup.

Once again cheers guys:)

Walker played the first half in the reserves and kicked a couple and took eight or nine good grabs according to one of his mates watching....then had a recovery period before playing the second half in the A s
trevor Hill gave him a bit of a wrap after the game...steadily improving and will do so more when the crows boys can train and get to kno the legs players...a lot of new players at the legs so will take time for it all to gel ?

Thanks very much CG and Drummo for your reports. Also to tails14 for the info on Walker's reserves hit out. Makes sense why he started the first half off with that knowledge too.

Sellar kicked one point.

As commented by someone else on www.snoutslouts.org, Sellar looked the weakest of the four players used as leading forwards (Grima, Kirkby and Kirk being the others). And with McConnell and Duldig looking for spots in our forward line too, don't be surprised if Sellar spends more time in our Reserves this year...

Proof that the standard of the SANFL isn't that far behind the AFL. ;)

I thought Kirkby was worth a look late on in the draft or as a mature aged rookie. Was very good late last year. And cmon Sellar couldnt be behind Duldig........ thats like being behind that famous inanimate carbon rod......

Not sure how old he is, he MAY be eligible under the standard rookie drafting rules.

However, Kirkby is NOT eligible to be drafted under the "mature age rookie" rule, as he has previously been on an AFL list.

More like proof that training with an SANFL side all summer is of greater benefit to impress in a first trial game, than not training with them at all. ;)

Ahh thats right yes he has...... Hawthorn IIRC.

Cheers Vader.

"Proof" that Duldig is better than Sellar! :)

2007 League:
Duldig 7 games, 16 goals
Sellar 8 games 11 goals

2007 Reserves
Duldig 13 games 37 goals
Sellar 7 games 9 goals

You would hope that Sellar will play better this year, but if not...

Duldig has ALOT more bulk on him and wasnt playing through injuries last season...... hes still useless.
