Eddie is not feeding Tom Browne inside information on injuries. That is ridiculous.

He gets positive leaks of stuff we want out there from Eddie for sure, but not counter productive information that doesn't assist our cause.

I’m not sure about the absolute statements. Ed has a mouth on him as big as Victoria, is prone to talking before thinking, they’re work colleagues at MMM and there’s a clear connection there as you pointed out with the positive stories... If I’m taking odds on it I’ve got my money on Ed.

All I've said was that in hindsight he was obviously mismanaged. How is that even debatable...
By virtue of it quite possibly being untrue, for starters...

I'm always very hesitant to doubt Tom Browne when it comes to his Collingwood mail given he probably gets most of his news from Eddie so it will be interesting to see what happens at training tomorrow. I'm expecting Browne's news to be correct (Moore being in doubt this week) and Bucks to come out at his press conference saying that Moore failed to get through training and will miss another week.

Yep -only takes a quick google search to see how closely linked Tom's Dad Jeff and Eddie have been for last 25 years.

Haha, you blokes all get so defensive the moment someone dares to question anything the club does.

Not defensive, just accurate.

He’s backing himself in! Buckley was just on SEN and confirmed that he expects both Moore and JDG to train tomorrow. If they get through they’ll be selected. My gut feel is Tom was right, but Moore has overcome the hamstring issue.
Always respect your opinions Sco so hopefully you’re right here.
BTW, if you’re wrong you’re a f***ing dickhead:)

Hah thanks for the vote of confidence!

Trying to predict injury timeframes ATM is pot luck though so I feel for Buckley. Take last week JDG is in at 12 and out at 12:30 assuming they chose the cautious approach. We then have Elliott who will be in full training for 5 weeks before returning. The flip side of that is Adams presses his case for selection and breaks down.

The disinformation coming out of the club doesn’t help!

Well I've completed a Master's in Engineering and I do spend a large amount of time in a chair that holds my arms, but I'm not necessarily sure I'm an expert. So somewhat accurate and incredibly defensive is probably the best middle ground.

You’re an expert in making uniformed medical opinions. I hope your engineering opinions are at least grounded in facts, otherwise that armchair could collapse.

The transparency about injuries is poor from the club we have 81000 members and thousands more who are invested in the club and they can't tell us what's really wrong with moore de goey or Langdon. Moore and de goey were general soreness and now might miss a third week and no one knows what actually is wrong with Langdon even Cox who had a slightly sore ankle missed a month surely there was something more wrong with it. Just tell us the ******* truth its the least we deserve.
Agree 100%. Week after week we are being fed bullshit by the club.

We can only base our opinions on the information released by the club and at present the lack of reliable injury news is leaving us with a lot of gaps to fill in.
I don’t have an issue with what the club is saying.

Surely the club would prefer to keep its cards close to it's chest regarding injury so our opposition can't plan ahead around match ups. Last week Moore, Degoey and Adams were all apparently ready, and Cox close. I suppose whether we know who's injured or not makes no difference in the end, the players deemed fit will be selected and ultimately play.

How is it untrue?
You’ve made an assumption that because Adams has had a setback, that;
1) the club has given him the wrong rehab plan and
2) the incorrect rehab plan has been the cause of the setback.

If either 1 or 2 is not the case, then what you’ve assumed and claimed to be an obvious truth is, in fact, false.

The club may have given him an ideal rehab plan and Tay didn’t follow it.
The setback may have been due to factors that could not be controlled by the club.

You have essentially decided that because a) the club gave Taylor a rehab plan, and then b) Tay had a setback, that necessarily a) caused b), which is just a mother****er of an assumption.

Seriously? That's one of the funniest things I've ever heard.
You’ve never heard of a patient failing to follow a treatment plan to the letter?

So what you’re saying is;

Have you ever heard of someone setting up a social media account with the sole purpose of bagging the fitness department of a sporting club? Maybe caused by PTSD following an unsuccessful job application?

I think this little news story from last week might add weight to the possibility that Tay does a little bit of fitness/rehab work outside the club.

Both Adams' and Greenwood's rowing technique will probably cause multiple injuries on their own!

That's exactly it. Last year a bunch of frustrated Adelaide supporters started the #WeWantAnswersAFC "movement" because the club was being cagey about injuries, but at least the frustrations were understandable because the Crows were performing badly after coming off a Grand Final.

Some here seem to act entitled and even question the competency of medical professionals (even after an actual quack no longer works at the club) and think the club OWES them an explanation about the medical records of players.

It's lunacy when we're not displaying the level of incompetency Adelaide showed after their GF loss. We are actually getting wins. We are seven on the trot. If we start losing and the club still is as clear as mud about some of the injuries, then sure, maybe it would make sense to have frustrations come up. But why bother when the players we are putting out on to the field are getting the job done anyway?

It's as if individual players are more important than the club as a whole to some people.
