I wouldn't mind that old bloke playing for us!!

Absolute gun!

Dont know where your getting your info from Hitforsix, but you really have no idea.... The senior coach had no link to either of the previous clubs and there is quite a few boys from the saints training, have not lost many at all, same for Salesian. And your wrong again, there is a clubbies and with over 20 players already committed!!! Go back and do some research before you come on again......

You are certainly a previous salesian player. I might also add you seem to be very quick to attempt to suppress any bad sentiment towards the club. There may be a number of saints players training but if you read my previous post you would realise I stated the number of previous senior players training at the club is very limited. I dare to say max of 4-5 of last years. Can you please explain your definition of committed to playing?
Have they paid fees and signed up? Showing up to a few training does not suggest they are committed.

I put it forward that if you were to compare the Senior list from the St Marys team at the end of last season to the Senior Team named at st Merger land. it would have no more than 4-5 Ex St Marys and not becuase they wouldn't get a game.

I hope the glory of merging and getting relegated from D2 works out well and the stealing of the Postage Stamp is convienient.

Mate seriously, stop talking crap... you really have no idea!!! Your either a disgruntled ex-saint who was opposed to the merger or one on those ill informed St Mary's slagers from D4. Ive seen your previous post and its fair to say you have some sort of issue with the club. Why wouldnt i be quick to supress your stupid comments???

The senior team for round one will have nothing to do with which club you came from, but your performance on the track and i can tell you, there will be more than 4-5 St Mary's boys in the team. They have quite a few seriously good footballers. The senior coach is not interested in anything else, i can assure you.

Do you really need a definition of the word committed???? They have committed to playing, whats hard about that??? The clubbies start training in about 2 weeks and will be very good side!!!

Relegation..... i dont think so son!!!

Postage stamp.... at least in lush and green and we can use it, unlike most clubs.

Serioulsy Hitforsix, go back to you D4 thread and talk about something you have a clue about, not just off the cuff crap that you THINK you know about.

They won the flag in the reserves but they only made the prelim in the seniors. I am surprised though. i would have thought Kirk Norton would have kept the job if he wanted it. They were a very young team last year, i think they will be a better side this year, with the players having another year of development. Should be good this year, watching Werribee and Westbourne slogging it out as powerhouses of the division from the same side of town! Shame that willi just got relegated, would have made for some good 3-way rivalry!
Looking forward to a good year of D2 Footy!

Nick Diker was 2's coach last year and has been promoted to Seniors assistant coach to Kirk. S. Daly is the new 2's coach. No other changes to coaching staff. Some nice pick up of players with no players leaving from senior list. Will be very competitive.

You are an absolute tool HitForSix

Hey nipples, I hear the wheels have fallen off down at Kardinia Park?
I also hear Werribee are struggling for numbers, and the club 18 side has been ruled out for 2008. Have you heard the saying - the fish rots at the head??

I think the club needs bees back. Just the presence he has around the club is amazing. Hey nipples any chance of getting a bronzed statue of him near the canteen?

Sorry Yaga, that spot has been reserved by Javo!
But Bees does deserve some recognition - that 1/2 of a possession last year was nothing but quality!

Spoke to a mate of mine today and he said the opposite. Had 45 on the track last night and reckons no one wants to commit to help run the clubbies so it wont go ahead. The ground in great shape as always at this time of year, terrible later.

Have got plenty of numbers to make up 2 sides and a 3 if we need. The numbers we do have are all fit and all under 100kg. That lets One Man Band and definately Yaga out of the criteria. The council may put the kybash on any new club being formed due to ground rationalisation with the drought. Will know in a couple of weeks. I understand the new renovations at KFC was so Yaga would be able to have more room fitting through the door.

I think the tigers are definetly the side to beat, young and can tear teams a part if they are on, blokes like cam lee should be on track for a awesome season!
