The Chump - detailed tips will follow tomorrow or Friday but I think the Round 18 clash at Banyule will hurt OW unless Banyule play funny buggers and throw it......

Chump, I think you can take it that Drifter picks Westbourne this week otherwise why would the Round 18 clash against Banyule hurt Westbourne if they lose this week????

New job is killing me.....

Westie - we never rest players at ESL - never have, never will. Unlike your Round 18 effort last year when you fielded a ressies team atleast in attitude...

Cheers
If that's the case, Beluzar and Hickey are injured?, when will they be back?

My thoughts exactly Wamba !!

The boys at Hoe land will be happy to be underrated ...again.

Chump.

Wamba & Chump - this a tag team effort by you boys

I havent tipped yet for this week as I said!!!!!!!!!!!!

To Westie - we dont rest players simple as that

We have injuries like every team thats why players miss weeks at our club.

We just dont post threads saying we pull together in adversity every week as EVERY CLUB HAS INJURIES and its part of the game

WEST I think you will find that Beluzar, hurt his ribs the last time he played. Will be interesting to see how the injury holds up when he does play! Wouldnt be easy to be a high marking forward with sore ribs!

What about Hickey??

Yeah Ribs it is "Live It Up" - great info:confused:

We'll rest the ribs for as long as possible............

Hicks just a short term injury

Both lads are fine..

Thanks for the concern West - we're not missing 10 guys like you are so cant complain

I was unaware that Therry were beaten by the plebs down Bentleigh way. I'll have to give some stick to my mate CB next time I see him. Appologies. Hope you remember the "good" times when your getting relegated to the D4 next year.

You'll be sat on your perch trying to glean a bit of dignity. Unaware that If you'd looked for a deal elsewhere you might have gotten in.

My philosphy: It's better to have been sunk with heavy pockets than float down and drown without any resistance.

Think about it. Mad monday will be alot better if your not paying for your beers!

If pride in the jumper is keeping you warm at night, better get a new jumper before the long harsh winters set in...
sorry I dont mind paying for my beers. should I be looked down upon because of that? and I think mad monday will be much more fun for me spending it with people who are my good mates.
or would it be better spent with someone like you? I can see your mad monday now as a teammate comes and asks you to grab him a drink "no sorry pal I cant find it in myself to waste my cash on something like you or that" as you also ponder what the guys name is...
by the way I think the "long harsh winter" is behind us. today was quite warm and spring is on its way.
youre really proving your worth with comments like that.

just go with what you like Drifter......no sympathy required for us. we know we will be raging underdogs for this one :

* several stars back for OW this week.
* the hoes will still not at be 'full book'.
* in 4 games against the warriors we only just got over the line - at home - in one.
* last time we played at OW we lost by 27 goals.
* Jack not likely to play this week as he has the builders coming around for his new pad.
* and the chump is still missing:p

Johno Healy will have us at $4.10 a win under 39 points.

The Chump.

Great Info indeed - live it up

Sure upcoming opposition will be keen to test your information

Chumpy,

Arguments against your claims:
* Johno Healy would be broke with some of the odds he has put out this year.
*Ivanhoe have been Fantastic in the second half of the year. OW have been hot one week, and could be belted the next.
* OW just got over GE on the weekend. Ge are by no means easy beats, but i would have thought that you guys are 5 goal better side than them.
* You could cement your spot in the 4 with a win this week. Its all to play for and you guys will be switched on - not that OW wont be, but you guys only need to probably win one of the last two if you win on Saturday.

Silly sillly boys

The last game he played was against Banyule - why dont you ask young Hugh Dickson who played on him about the sore ribs.....

There are none

Well if he didnt have sore ribs, he might now, especially if everyone is going to "test" them out.... hahaha

Drifter, have never complained or used injuries as excuses as Werribee will play with whomever is available.
I'm starting to feel like you may be getting a bit agro and looking at the past.
Seems like you don't like ESL being in the spotlight like Werribee has been ALL year. Maybe TOO much pressure that you can't handle??

Cmon Chump, dont get all drifter on us now. There is no chance that you will be underdogs in this one. For one you smashed GE a couple of weeks ago, and we only beat them by 1 point. Secondly, you have already beaten us once this year. And then there is the Pace/Wood combo.....

The money will be with Ivanhoe, even Jono's I suspect.

Don't bet on Jono Healy picking us Akka (4 times out of 15 I think).

He'll be weighing up your cavalcade of stars: Connors Brett and Grant, Horsburgh, Hutton, Sam Collins, Chalmers, Tex Weston, Dullard, Pavez, Chuck Hunter, Huntington and Cade Lever against our star:

Ang Pace.

Watched a few of those stars that you named get smacked at soldiers the other week, however some were missing.

Will be a cracker.

My tip of a draw between OW and GE nearly came true....

Cavalcade you reckon?

Half of those players won't play this weekend, and some are no longer even at the club.

And Pace your only star?
Collins, Wood, Brown, Healy, and Holland would all be included in that group IMO.

Can't see Jono tipping against you boys this week, your form over the past 6-7 weeks has been excellent, our has been inconsistant at best.

You never know, I might even tip you boys this week!!

Couldn't agree more,
Pace can out muscle many but the reason he is able to do this is due to the great mid-field work by his other team mates.

I think its #35 - GUN!

you certainly did watch a FEW of these players get smashed at soldiers. (only a few though) 7 weren't playing. And 1 doesn't even play any more.

Wamba, you cant just name blokes from the D3 grand final team sheet and call them stars just to take the focus off your favoritism

Ivanhoe has a better form guide, and also beat the warriors in there last encounter. I don't use last years results in my calculations Chump.

Looking forward to a great contest on saturday, Lets hope the weather holds out

No 35 James Collins is a gun - one of the favourites for Comp B&F for certain
