pretty good point there. teams dont win unless they play because they would rather not touch the pill but still trounce the opposition. the atmosphere at uni high is great and we always have a big amount of numbers on a thursday night and at trainings. maybe because the list goes down to 9839321. support maybe lacking on a saturday though.
with much love, adam trevethan

Tim i know its you you snake... dont even try and say its not at training 2nite.

In regards to that hit, a bloke was standing under the ball waiting for the mark, Coach Scumbag didnt even look at the ball, was just watching the player standing there, to whos credit didnt move for him and as a result copped hollywoods flying knees (both of them) to the chest/ribs and was knocked out, coughing up blood. It was late, and it was f*ckin weak. The strategy may very well have been to just take out 3 or 4 players to get rid of the bench.. Lucky 2 not get rubbed out frankly.

As for the G/f last year, if he was gonna paysomeone back he would have to punch himself in the face every f*ckin day 4 being a knob. I remember watching him get out done and fall over in a marking contest and then kicking the full back in the guts while on his "shell on his back" on the ground as he ran past..

enough bout that anyway. Hows everyones grounds looking after the rains weve had?

Ha Ha Ha, Clearly been smoking something other than Nikkoteen there Nikko? How about checking the videos you tools make and you'll clearly see what really happened rather than making up bullsh*t, which is obvious that is all you do on here allday???

You'll see that I hip and shouldered the guy from UHS as he was handballing at the time and he was bumped from side on straight down the middle of his chest. If you're going to play football then you have to be prepared for contact at all times, something alot of you UHS squibs aren't???

Also the GF incident, I had my leg held so I couldn't get back up and tried to kick my leg free to regain my feet. This was something I was quiet intitled to do and the umpire agreed and I recieved a free kick for the incident for holding.

Anyway I'd suggest you consentrate on your problems and learn to play football yourself first before critising others, maybe that shows why UHS have taken a backward step season with f*ckwits like you hanging around??? Plenty of guys at UHS busting there ass not to have clowns like you make it harder for everyone.

If i have offended you coach squallywood, tfb u joker, go back to bumf*ck idaho and to the cowtipping which i hear is ur specialty. All the best for an injury free season..

Surely I'm aloud a right of reply after your personal attacks Nikko??
Just throwing in a few counter jabs back at ya, but in all honesty I love the rivalry we now have with UHS and hating you guys is just a show of respect.. Till round 18!!!:thumbsu:

no worries bud, out of curiosity is there anychance the government might assign some youth workers or criminals on community services to clean ur ground a little b4 we get there this year?;)

Nikko,
The Fearon Reserve is in great nick. This time last year, when Willy were playing at a different venue, such was the Fearon's condition that some were doubtful that we would ever again get back on it. Comparisons with the Simpson Deset were not inaccurate. The combination of a sand base and an almost constant sea-breeze means that it is rarely wet.

How big is fearon? and is the wind truely as bad as people make out? Last year we played a game at sth mornington, their oval really was just sand, there was literally no grass on it, but at least the surface was quite even.

Lollywood,

Loud you are & yes you are allowed ....... preying on players who are open after handballing instead of tackling earlier is an interesting ploy. You illegally hit the UHS captain in the first q when he had just put his head down [free kick & lucky not to be reported as I heard the ump say not 10 meters from me].

Any comment on the player guestures to the UHS bench after the game??? Number 45??

Waiting puff, puff

Thanks for the spelling lessons Nikko, not sure what the Gestures where that you are referring too, but i'd be amassed if it was directed at the UHS bench or at any players for that matter as we at Eltham win, loose or draw always respect the opposition after a game, and hang around for a beer etc, thats what local footy is all about, but when on the ground you do everything you can to win within reason.

I'd expect any gestures were more likely directed at the penuts standing behind them yelling abuse all game??? Were you one of these spectators behind the bench were you Nikko?

hollywoods bump on the man handballing was fair nikko. it was as he handballed, i think what made it worse for the player is that he didnt have time to brace his body for the impact (which i discussed with the umpire and he agreed).

as for no 45 gesturing to the your boundary (i saw the incedent first hand as i was off injured when siren rang) yes this did happen.. there is no excuse for that and he was quickly pulled up on what he'd done. i suppose he was just happy because the last three times we've played u have beaten us! he knows what he did was wrong though and is know way to carry on...

The wind can indeed be bad at the Fearon, but generally it is o.k. and not too great factor in games. The Williamstown VFL ground is only about 800 meters down the road, but as it is right on Point Gellibrand it is always windy there. Cys have some games there in the past, and may well do so again in the future.
The Fearon is slightly smaller than the average Ammos ground but bigger than Hawthorn's and maybe just a bit longer than Elsternwick's.

Id really hope its bigger than hawthorn! that grounds like a grain of salt!! Elsternwick was pretty small as well.. So u guys dont like bigger grounds then? ;) Might put on a couple of hundred meters b4 our match in 2 weeks..

Unfortunately not Coach, i was called home to scrub the latrines with my toothbrush as my incontinent blowupdoll shat itself again. Besides i usually get frustrated at the umpires not the opposition team so i just sulk 2 myself to not give away double 25meter penalties!

Gollywood be amazed - Arthur Mac saw them [gestures - see his post] & I think you would be well aware of the free kick paid against your 2 supporters wearing hats [zoo end] in the 2nd Quarter for umpire abuse - certainly trying to shift the arrogance/abuse claim to the wrong club??

Uni playing host to the house, tough game to pick, in what is finally a tough round to call. Ill lean to the home team for no reason what so ever. Uni by 10 points

Eltham host Monash, the Monash boys will have never played out at Research, and with a few injuries and most noticeably with Wells out, they will struggle to find there footing. John Garrard (No relation to Jean Girard from Talladega Nights?) should be able to snag a few, Turtles by 24 points.

Williamstown will increase their already healthy percentage against Swinburne running away with the game from the get go. Peanuts will cheer them home to the tune of 120 points.

Elsternwick didn’t give a yelp against Monash under lights, then they were unlucky not to win last week at Eltham, I cant follow that form at all. Maybe being back to matchstick park will aid them, Ill stick with the home team here as I cannot pick La Trobe at the moment. Wickers by 40

Another tough game to round off the week, the Hawks vs St Johns, only percentage separates them on the ladder this could be a pivotal game if they want to play finals. Not sure what’s going on with the Joc’s, there 2’s have only won the single game, and this year, thus far is not going to plan. Hawks at home by 14

Wow, to the bloke who asked the question - Is D3 the most predictable section in the VAFA... Try and pick 5 this week.
There is only one certainty and we all know who it is.. I think we are in for a record winning margin here boys.

UHS Vs House - by 8pts in what should be a very entertaining game of footy. The Uni boys just don't seem to have a great backline and I think Power's 2 big lads should give them plenty of trouble.

Turtles V Gryphs - 28pts As I predicted 2wks ago, this will be the first of two form defining losses for the turtles as they start to play some of the stronger teams in the comp. After a 4th qtr fadeout last week, the Gryphs should bounce back. My friend in their camp informed me of 4 key injuries in the 1's there but I think they have enough depth to account for the Turtles.

CY's V Swinburne - 140pts Perhaps the drubbing of the year? The Pigs are going to cop an absolute barraging from the much talked about peanut gallery. The travelling circus should have a cracking percentage after this round and just about seem to have top spot sewed up.

WicksV Latrobe 6pts - Another close encounter. I just don't feel the trobe boys can cover the loss of their captain/coach here but will go close to the Wicks none the less. I hope they can get up.

Hawthorn V St Johns 19pts: I will bill this match of the round even though I am predicting a 3 goal margin and on numerous occasions have been outspoken on the Hawks being a terrible side. They are terrible, they just don't know it yet. They will find out how terrible they are this w/end against the John's boys who will undoubtedly draw a crowd to the carpet patch. I just don't know who is going to run all the pawn shops in with all the sales “executives” calling in sick to go to the game. By the way D'nong boys - you probably won’t be reading this on account of the fact that you can't afford internet but your ladies are quite hot in a sl*ty kind of way - I'm certainly a sucker for a 3 tooth smile! Anyway, I'm babbling on a bit..

Good luck to all teams this w/end

You could almost write a book about the inaccuracy of witness statements from this discussion. Just for the record, no one's been right so far. It was a hit with the shoulder to the chest after the kick (but still during the completion of the kicking action, which I think is why it had such an impact, as the player was off-balance). I only know this because I've seen the video – at the time I thought the hit was to the scone and later than Michael Hutchence.

Wow, what a week on the forum!

Accusations, gesticulating to the crowd, singing team songs on the ground (it's just not done Hawthorn), accusations of dirty play in last years big games and Nikkoteen baiting everyone ...it's been a big week!

Tosser of the Week goes to Coach Hollywood for biting and trying (unsucessfully) to defend his woeful actions...I'm shocked! Maybe feeling a tad guilty supercoach? Your posts were embarassing!

Poster of the Week goes to Nikkoteen for getting a big bite out of the Glam Supercoach and re-igniting an already thriving rivalry.

Nikko, you win a dinner for two at Red Rooster in Eltham. Dine in only.

Please call Coach Hollywood to claim your prize!

Over to this weeks games.

The House travel to the Zoo and might just walk away empty handed although I agree that the Zooboys defence might not be able to handle the big Power Forwards. I tip a draw.

The Gryphs travel to the Turtle Aquarium and will get smashed. The ground is too big, the Turtles pace will be too hot. Eltham by 35 points.

Willy by a country mile.

Small ground at home will suit the Pensioners unless it gets too cold and wet for them. They will defeat the Uni Drunks by 9 points (if any of them turn up).

The Hacks v St Johns. Who actually cares? Both are very unpopular and I just hope they smash the crap out of each other. Two pretender teams with lofty opinions and big tickets on themselves.
Hacks might win. I still hope the Hacks Reserves umpire gets smashed by a St Johns fan out on day release...

I'm Dee Three..that's my take!

For someone who's biggest claim to fame is that you're prepared to gob off while hiding in anonymity .. you have a massively inflated opinion of yourself.

You seem to have some unnatural preoccupations
a. taking crap cheap shots
b. talking crap
c. kanga crap

We'll make sure the roos up at the Turtledome really go to work prior to the Uni High game, just to give you something to bleat about.

Backdoor Brothers:

a. ur a tit
b. a big tit
c. a big saggy tit, not like the tit of an underage catholic schoolgirl, a big hairy Man tit with dishpan nipples sagging down to the GUNT (witch is when the mooseknuckle and gut merge, there is no longer a defined c*nt, hence, GUNT) on a decrepant nicaraguan shemale.

Thank u for making the roos understand, in return, ill drop my own kangaroo tail in ur showers and i wont even have the decency to stomp it down the drain afterwards.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Gee there's been a lot of trash spoken on this website this week so on to Round 6 review:

Cy's are head and shoulders above the rest as proven by their demolition of Monash in the final quarter last week. There is one other Grand Final spot up for grabs.

Hawthorn beat the poor sides easily, but there are still question marks about their ability to match it with the best (a la Monash).

Swinburne are just as bad as Latrobe! Relegation looks settled even after 6 rounds.

St Johns are very tough to beat at home but inconsistent away from Doveton.

There is precious little between Eltham in 2nd and Elsternwick in 8th, ability wise. Ok, perhaps the wet conditions didn't particularly suit the Turtles. Good news for all clubs aspiring to play finals.

Quasi remains unsurpassed in the tipping stakes on 27/30. Not sure I can guarantee a five this week as three matches are absolute toss ups.

Preview:

Match of the Day 1 - UHS VU vs Powerhouse.
Very easy to say it all depends on the supply to Paul Edwards, but this is a fact. When he fires, Powerhouse are a top 4 side. Still, I think Uni High at home will prevail by 6 points in a dour affair.

Match of the day 2 - Hawthorn vs St Johns
Both clubs pride themselves of being hard at it, however, I believe St Johns have lost some of their lustre in this department over the past few years. Crunch game. Winner set to play finals. Hawks by 4 only because of the Rathmines factor.

Match of the day 3 - Eltham vs Monash Gryphons

Monash have as good a defence as any when Lee Wells play back. His battle on Jono Garrard will be pivotal. The other Leigh, Leigh Dooley, will have to fire if the Gryphons are to win. Turtles by 3, with a kick after the siren hitting the post by Chris Leeton..

Elsternwick vs Latrobe
The Wicks were clearly embarrassed by their efforts against Monash in round 5 and Dennis Grace would've been heartened by a spitried performance againstEltham last week. Still a loss though. Latrobe are ordinary, but might be suited to the small ground at Elst Park #2. Danger game form Elsternwick, but they still should win by 18.

Lock of the Year Williamstown vs Swinburne
If David Lee has a poor game, he'll still manage 8, if he is on song he could rewrite the record books with 16-18 majors. Cy's are $1.01 at TAB Sportsbet and punters are still happy to back them. Willy by 175!

Good luck to all
Quasi

Match of the Round for mine is the Eltham vs Monash game ... a good win by Eltham might just confirm them as the second favourite

Ice, keen for you to rate Monash and then Eltham & Willy after the game

Eltham by 20 pts give the exclusion of Wells

Home ground advantage will give the Hawks the chocolates by 19 pts

Haven't seen UHS yet, but based on prior results, the House might just be too strong in a close one by 8 pts

Elsternwick have the bye ... 10 goal win even though their form is harder to pick than a broken nose

Willy by enough ... has anybody got Fred Fanning's phone number? With ideal footy conditions forecasted for tomorrow, we might just have to get hold of him early in the match if the Shaved One (Lee) starts to get on top early

ps - the peanut gallery's focus will be on the curtain raiser as a club legend and icon makes a return for a testimonial game ... so expect a huge crowd from early on at Willy

good luck on the weekend gents
