Had a look at Kew & Swinburne Friday Night- Swinburne looked very ordinary, but hung in there.

It seems to me that there is plenty of i's in kews team at the moment. If they come together as a team at some stage they will be greatly improved from last year.

Was Old man River there too?

The English Teacher in me wants to point out that there is no 'i' in "kew's team"... but I won't.;)

I hear the Hoes have some handy recruits, a couple of former b & f winners from parade and forward from Montmorency.

I think they will still need a few Crazy. They lost 5 firsts guys to Eltham Turtles this year, so they would need to recruit well just to make up for that.

Lucky they have Old Man River !!!

Well he did lead the goalkicking last year didnt he? That would have to leave a huge hole in your forward line.

60-odd goals will still be a big hole to fill OMR ?

COC, you weren't the big fella standing next to Old Timer at Ivanhoe's practice match on Saturday were you? I would have thought that only the (percieved) weaker club's like mine would waste time checking out opposition clubs. Tell OT I am sorry for not introducing myself but I was taking a few notes down the other end.

oh no first time i have read the D3 forum again this year AND nothing has changed. OW talking themselves up again what a surprise! ...thought they would have learnt to keep there mouths shut after last years efforts of missing the finals althogether, after declaring themselves unbeatleable...abosolute clowns!

heoch - sounds like coughing something up, but I digress. Sorry to let you down my friend but it was not me. Also, news to me about OT being at the practice match - maybe he can shed some light on what he thought? But last I knew it was a public place and anyone could stand there should they wish?

As for me, I still think you guys will struggle - although I see you may have been trying to get a few under the radar. so maybe I was a little unfair earlier on ................OW to smack your ass by 10 ...not 15 in the first round.:D
