I think you've got a crush on me as well as Edwards!

You'll find out next year when your boys go up to D2 and OP come down to D2, I'll check with my guru next week.

So are you driving Swinney's bandwagon or me??

I think a host of D3 sides would give OP's trouble and Yarra Valley ....actually, it was only a practice match but didn't the house beat them this year? Ok, OK that's not a real game!!

Crush - please don't tell the wife and 3 little ones - they would be gutted!... as would you lover OMR. You make a cute couple ...congratulations :)

Swinney - need it all to go well for them I think, but think they are good enough to do Kew ( sory Crazybear and Oldtimer ). Higgins is a good forward and they have a reasonable mid-field.

I think your first bus looks to be improving more than this one ETE - just my thoughts though.

Just had a look at the Power House website. They proudly boast about being D grade premiers last year, except they left out one important detail...it was D4!! I am sure it was a simple oversight to leave out the 4.

Big differnece between D1 and D4 guys. Let's stick to the truth.

Wouldn't win a game in D1!

nor would they win a game in D2.

My tips for this week:

Ivanhoe over Elsternwick by 13pts (The Hoes impressed last round)
Latrobe over Hawthorn by 26pts (Hawks to fail to handle big arena)
Westies over the House by 14pts (Should be very wet at McAlister Oval)
Kew over Swinny by 46pts (Swinny set for D4 in 08')
Westbourne over Monash by 123pts (Give them the flag now?)

Good luck to all

think the rain could draw a few surprise results this weekend

Slight change to the tips with the rain looking like playing a role :

Previous :

Hoe V E-wick - wicks by 5 goals as I think they are 2nd best team in it.
La Trobe V Hawks - hawks 2 goals - that's a big ground at La trobe
WB V the house - crunch time for WB ? ;) House by 2 points.
Kew V Swinney - Swinney to get first win for the year by 13 points
OW V Monash - ouch, ouch, ouch .........100+[/quote]

Up dated :

Hoe V E-wick - wicks by 2 goals - rain and a few injuries to make it a little closer

La Trobe V Hawks - hawks 4 goals - that's a big ground at La trobe - but look to have lighter bodies and would prefer a dry running game.

WB V the house - crunch time for WB ? ;) House by 4 points - no change - big game for both teams fortunes.

Kew V Swinney - Swinney to get first win for the year by 13 points - no change

OW V Monash - ouch, ouch,.....65 points

Kew are the dark horses. That fella witchell is a cagey one, he'll have them ripe by September. Word is he'll consider pulling on the boots again to go back to back in the magoo's...

Saw quite a bit of G Connors and B Hutton last year... Hutton up forward has a great set of hands, the wet wont play much havoc for him, OW by 15 goals Hutton 8 goals +

Ivanhoe's win may go to their head.
Lauletta snr. will relish space in the forward line if Hawks can get centre clearances.West Bruns probably playing on middle oval. Kew? Me too!
What's wrong with the "magnificent new facilities" at Westbourne? Crossing Skeleton Creek may get teams out of the wetlands! OW by a few.

Kew are gone, heard they had 4 blokes go to hospital and played with only 16 players in the last quarter.

Gone - not yet. Trouble - at the moment.
Swinburne played well and deserved their win.
Yes we did have 4 guys go to hospital, we did play with 17 from the 10 min mark of the third and yes we did finish with 15 on the ground in the last.
Injuries are not an excuse and Swinburne had Higgins out, they were the better side on the day. We have plenty of numbers to field 3 teams on the weekend as our clubbies played with 24 last week, we lack a bit of quality but it is the perfect opportunity for some of the reseve players to take the step up. Monash have been in the same boat with injuries as I'm sure a lot of other clubs have been already.
Would prefer if injuries happened over a longer period of time but as they say luck plays a big part in footy.

Must have been the weekend for it - I had a little look at the Ivanhoe V Elsternwick game and both added to their list of injuries with a few more by the looks of it.
