Will be watching with interest the Kew v Swinburne game. Swinnys midfield will be to strong for Kew.

Is that the Jules 'Dutchy' Holland that runs around for Ivanhoe? How did he end up there? Seems as though the Moussa has had a good year with the Hoes as well.

It is in this weeks record. OW had 4 in it. Horne from Kew was on a HFF.

Monash had 3, PH had 3, WB had 1, Ivan had 2, Swin had 1, Elsten had 2, Haw had 2 or 3, Latrobe had 1 or 2

here are my thoughts from a purely OW perspective!

We were the highest scoring attack in the league but had no forwards named?

Chalmers hasnt played onball all year (winger) and Hutton played all year as a forward (maybe 2qtrs for whole year on wing?) BUT BOTH DESERVE TO BE IN IT CHALMERS - WING, HUTTON - HF!

Brett Connors on the bench is a joke!

I think 4 players is a low number for a team that has dominated so much for the year!

that said all the players named are excellent players who all played very well in the games against us.

Congrats to all who made it ............

Not suprised that there is only one Swinburne player in the team, but am very suprised that it's not M.Whiting. Clearly the standout Swinburne player this year.

I think injury effected the final team too perhaps?

Surely G Connors and Smith from OW would have gone close if they played more games?

maybe there are a few others from other clubs in the same boat that we didnt see much of throughout the year?

Smith is too old and won't be right for the Granny. If there was a team of the year just for last quarters, then G Connors would be captain.

Absolutely, but I was trying to select on games played for the majority of the year and not a few games or reputation.....i think it's the only fair way.

I think both these guys are super players (and sorely missed in this finals campaign), but will figure pretty heavily in the D2 team of the year 2008 should they stay injury free.

Yeah he did. One of the best in the 1st half, kicked two crucial goals and hit numerous contests very hard.
