Daicos dangerous tackle on Daniel

Going to be fun watching the AFL justify both the non sanction for the tackle resulting in a HIA, and the HIA for a tackle that isn’t sanctioned.

The AFL lawyers will earn their pay converting Christian's crayon scribbles into an excuse which allows Daicos to play while not hurting their chances in all the lawsuits.

I hate Collingwood probably as much as anyone here but no way should anyone be suspended by that, esp for a Grand Final. It was reckless, not intention.

No way will he get suspended

Yeah you’re right concussion doesn’t matter during finals.

Don’t panic though he’s not getting suspended.

How the hell is that similar?!

One on one contest with a slight slinging action, versus a player getting tackled by two players, tripping over one of them and having his right arm held by the player who isn’t the alleged infringer.

that's true you can't have the runner up of the 2023 brownlow medal (JHF the winner!) rubbed out for the grand final!
Serong could of won the Brownlow this year but was rubbed out for a tackle on cerra a lot softer then that

He slows the motion not to hurt him
The umps thought it was ok
But that magpie mrp wank thought it was a to good of opportunity to rub out our best player because we were playing the pies the following week and to squash a rival of naicos in the Brownlow race

I don't think tackles like that should be suspended however they have been cracking down on it all year so for consistency sake he should be cited. He wont though, not for a GF.

Well yeah. It’s soft but players have been suspended for it all year.

Geez, never seen that before. Based on that Daicos is gone, but no chance anything will happen.

The point Kingsley has made post match can't be ignored. We lost a valuable player in the last qtr over this because the AFL docs insisted on a concussion test.
Don't think that's how it works - The AFL docs can only recommend the club doctors look at an incident/conduct a test. They can't enforce it. Club docs have the final say.

Three pages in and the thread title still hasn’t been updated with Daicos’ first name. Was it Nick or Josh?
