Depends how 2014 pans out for us, GC and David himself. Other clubs may also refuse to be part of the 3 way deal, not wanting to further strengthen the 2014 Premier. ;)
And if David has another injury interrupted season playing off half back, his value will surely not be much higher than our first rounder?

So... has David once even hinted that he has any intention of wanting to come to North?

On trade radio his manager stated that playing with his brother was "still in the back of his mind". This line was amidst the strong rumours that Melbourne were making a heavy play at David that involved pick #2.

Hey champ, This is Bigfooty. Doesn't matter what he wants.

What we say goes and thats the bible.

If we say he will be at North then thats what will happen my friend !!!

Oh, my apologies!

In that case, I heard the club was poking around at Gazza Jnr...

Swallow re-signed with Suns for two years at end of 2012!

This never happened.

David has had a single-minded obsession with playing for North Melbourne ever since they drafted Andrew and halted the Swallows' childhood dream of playing at the Suns together.

Not going anyway by the looks of it Sorry guys !!!!!! :(

DAVID Swallow has given the strongest indication yet he will remain a Gold Coast player beyond 2014.

On the same day he was announced a joint vice-captain at the Suns, the out-of-contract Swallow said he hoped to stay at the club for the next couple of years.

Answer A: Meh. Don't think we need him especially at the likely price.

Answer B: He's still coming to North just you wait and see.

Take your pick.

Answer C: Oh well, we've still got the better of the Swallow brothers

Smoke and mirrors ladies and gentleman. Been in his company on a number of occasions and can tell you like it or not the heart will eventually get what the heart wants. No club in there right mind would give up a valuable player for nothing so except all the shenanigans that cover the fact that at some point we will have 2 swallows. Shame were not playing them this year in GC so i wont get a chance to probe for more info.

Similar to Gazza, not to talk out of class but after conversations with certain club captains at club events, I am strongly of the belief that David will come play for us.

I don't know. I'm not privvy to all details. It was more of the overarching vibe, you know?

It's Mabo.

Anyways, you'd have to think it all depends on how David plays this year.

You never know what the future holds but you may want to take a look at this

http://www.goldcoastbulletin.com.au...he-coast-is-home/story-fnj94ixl-1226813678030

"FORMER No. 1 draft pick David Swallow will sign a new deal with the Gold Coast Suns after being handed the vice-captaincy by the club yesterday.
The West Australian-born Swallow, who is out of contract at the end of the season, said the show of faith by the club's playing group cemented the feeling that the Gold Coast was his new home.
"To be honest, I never thought about going anywhere else anyway but this definitely helps that and it makes me feel more at home," Swallow said yesterday.
