We also had Lynch who was playing all Australian level footy and Jack still playing very decent footy

That’s like what an extra 450+ plus games worth of experience from those two players alone compared to this year where we have played with no genuine experienced key position forwards all year so no real focal point for our other forwards to structure around properly

Coaches are definitely a big part of the puzzle but ultimately the biggest part will always be the players that we have to deploy

Probably a nice bloke but plain as day our forward ball movement and forward line have been poor for a number of years now.

He coached the crows forward line in 2017.. maybe they just made him look good?

But if Yze thinks he'd work better with someone else then we should make the change.

Not sure I agree. Our backline has held up pretty well this year with the amount of ball coming in.

Truck has a great track record developing backs for us. I'm pretty sure Rance gives him a lot of credit for what he became as a player.

actually it was leppa when he was an assiatant at richmond 2011 2012 and 2013 who made rance become the 5 x all australian defender,,,not saying truck didnt help but it was leppa that started it

Richmond was the highest scoring team in the AFL in 2022, Teague's first year as our forward line coach. He has never had anywhere near a full strength forward line to work with since then.

His effectiveness suffered once Jack and Lynch got injured and jack retired...

We penny pinch as a footy club. So I doubt we would target any good assistant coach.

Geelong go out and lure Rahilly back who’s viewed inside as the best assistant coach.

A good club does stuff like that. We about to promote a marketing guy as the CEO because, you know. We keep on Teague and Ratten who are simply Dimmas patsies and should have been gone at the end of the year last year.

This football club needs cleansing. Too many who are still bathing in bath water from that “era”. They will live on it.
