It all stems from the draft sanction that they got and they haven't been able to recover since, we got similar sanction as them but luckily pick up some very good players from rookie and late picks at that time and then got aggressive with trading Vince to get M.Crouch. But more importantly, it was around the time when the expansion clubs enter the competition.

Carlton have a good core group of 6 players that they could build a competitive team around, the problem is that the entire Club is a basket case. Which is one of many reasons they fail.

CARL took too many draftees (greedy) and didn't get their age balance correct .....Cain Liddle admitted to this on SEN Melb this morning

Game #3 of danger month. Brisbane are a much better team but the new coach bounce might have its effect.

*Keep it together, have faith. Carlton have only let you down 4 times in the past 43 games. They have plenty of credits on the board. I know missing Brendan hurts, but I have faith in them to do whats best for the AFC.

Seriously are Victorians a special kind of stupid? The game is ridiculous to view for spectators and challenging for players to perform. FFS.

The shade or Carlton in general?

I assumed it was at the MCG when I had to turn my.brightness up.

Just shut the roof... All the time. I can't think of one single thing that having the roof open adds for tv viewers or attendees.

Not seeing anything revolutionary coming from Blues today apart from some extra effort. Brisbane should win this comfortably, their form is great.

I have stopped watching it, probably a bit soft but I could do without a migraine.

Everyone that attends the Dome wants it closed, Im not sure why its open? Out of arrogance?

The longer the game goes, that initial energy spike they had will be gone just like Brendan.

Only going to watch until 2:30 and then the SANFL is on.

Crows v Bloods on channel 7

Some passages Carlton have looked okay. One in particular early they kicked from full back all the way to full forward, but Dow had the last kick so it went bad

Brisbane are working harder, and smarter, they’ll win, but Carlton are better
