Mail is that the first five picks are somewhat set (I wouldn't bank on it though):
1. Boyd
2. Kelly
3. Billings
4. Bontempelli
5. Kolodjashnij
8. McDonald

So that leaves Collingwood with 2 picks, Brisbane with a pick and Melbourne with a pick.
McCarthy is suggested to go to either Collingwood or Brisbane.
Then there are players like Scharenberg and Aish.
Either Melbourne or Collingwood (pick 10) will have to choose out of another player, word is Freeman is preferred option of Melb and Salem for Collingwood but these could be simply rumours.
With that in mind we'd have to be unlucky not to have the option of Sheed available to us.

Is anyone else concerned about Robertson's injury history?

Sure great he attacks the contest hard but that not much help if he keeps breaking.o_O

Someone has to replace beau waters eventually

You have internet access on your phone don't you!

She is an avid Dockers supporter, so I suppose I could get away with it under the guise of updates for both of us... pretty early in the piece to be starting that shit though haha!

Can't understand why dogs would take bontempelli at pick 4 after they went out on a limb with grant a few years back . They need genuine outside class to go with all there inside players . My money is they will pick aish .
I also can't see why GCS don't take Burg if they want a HBF
Just for something different
1 Kelly ( pick 1 to take spotlight off Boyd)
2 Boyd
3 Billings
4 Aish
5 Scharenberg
6 bontempelli ( so lions don't take him )
7 McCarthy
8 macdonald
9 Freeman
10 Salem
11 Sheed

I've heard that Richmond are taking Dom Sheedy under father and son rule, Kevin played 251 games for the Tigers

If Kevin had children, they'd be in football retirement by now.

Obviously don't remember Travis gaspar very we'll then foot issues destroyed his promising career
It depends what kind of injury. I should have been more clear. Tarsal/metatarsal stress fractures don't really present an ongoing concern, if the fragments are properly aligned and initial treatment or recovery is well managed and successful.

Generally a 6-8 week process. It is not terribly uncommon in some sports, especially soccer and has low recidivism rates.

Bontempelli is genuine outside player and he's hugely versatile. Play him as a half back flanker, wingman or marking forward. If they develop him right he could be a genuine star and give them much needed versatility that Aish won't ever bring.

Grant is irrelevant, that was six years ago and since then they've loaded up on short inside types and now some height and some outside ability is just what they need. Last year they picked up Macrae, Stringer, Hvorat and Hunter (F/S). The year before Clay Smith, Micheal Talia. They've really turned their drafting around IMO.

Kolodjashnij can play shorter than Scharenberg, he's faster and more athletic and his production is about the same. His performances against division one sides stack up. GCS aren't in the business of playing it safe and making predictable moves, they're trying to build a dominant side with weapons on every line. I like the move to be honest.

The notion that Sheed is a big-time goal-kicker is getting ridiculous.
To be fair, he averages about the same amount of goals as Simon Black...

I agree the dogs drafting has been very good but apart from stringer and his leg they have not had any speculative picks . Bontempelli seems very speculative at 4 especially when a ready made outside gun in aish is still around .
I also would have thought that Scharenberg and his foot problems would have been more of a risk than Kolodnashnij who seems like the safe pick !
