Pick 6 for 11 and 31 is a terrible trade. Would rather just use 28 on Yeo.
Why? We use 31 on Yeo and keep 11 and 28 to use? We stay in the first 2 rounds that way, which I presume is the end game. ;)

Yes, but by 11 sheed or whoever it is we were targetting with 6 may be gone or we may miss out on a top talent who slides. if we stop kow-towing to other clubs we can just be firm and say to brisbane they either take our 3rd rounder or risk losing Yeo to the PSD. It all seems a bit risky to give away a top ten draft pick when we dont just need another midfielder, we need a top line, talented midfielder with class to replace Kerr, and we are more likely to find that inside the top ten than out of it imo.

Yeah, or play hardball with Brisbane for Yeo. Pick 44 and our third round compo pick for next year maybe?

It depends when Freo deal for Gumby, if they give up their 2nd rounder then we only need to give up our 3rd rounder, providing Yeo isn't asking us to play fair with his old club for a trade.

If Aish is available at 6, i'd rather Aish, Yeo and pick 44 (ish) to Sheed (if he's available at 11), Yeo and Pick 28. Too much risk in moving from 6 to 11 for mine.

Yeah clubs usually try to trade into a Top 10 pick and we (reportedly at this stage yes) might be looking at trading out of the Top 10, all because of Yeo. Hhhhmmm, I hope the club know what they are doing. Too risky for mine as well doing the trade.

Lets hope if they do go down this path and do the trade that Yeo can bridge the gap between the guy at 6 and the guy at 11. Lets hope.
