Salopek would be a better option than Rodan. If he is over his injuries he is a good player. They should get the Docs to check him out and consider him for a rookie spot.

Let's be honest, he is certainly an upgrade on Addam Maric and if it's only a spot on the rookie list, then I'm sold.

Addam Maric is NOT the benchmark. That's acceptance of mediocrity.
Keep daring to rookie a gem imo. I'll accept a mature kpp for depth but not short people that have known ability. So Miller is ok by me cos he stood at chf and forced a contest. Job done thanks Brad. Addam M had unlimited potential but couldn't get there due to flaws, but worth a rookie spot in case the miracle occurred. Rodan has peaked (past his peak) and adds nothing. Matt White as a sub adds more. Younger, quicker, kicks goals and can play a stopping role if necessary.

You guys are definately better off giving Surjan a chance. He can play a defensive forward role and snag a few goals as well as play regular small defender.

Rodan just cant cover the ground, and will literally play 1 decent quarter a game (and dont the commentators only remember those couple of sweet moves....), has terrible tackle numbers for a strong inside player.

I'd rather we use the rookie list to gamble on an unknown rather than a known. We know what we will get with Rodan, it will be just what we had previously.

I'd rather we gamble on someone who was overlooked for some sort of question mark, but with big up side if it comes off.

Richmond Docs should give him a medical check and see if he really is "clapped out". If not, he is a better player than Rodan and should be considered for a rookie spot.

Get the feeling we want Rodan to be a "super-sub" as last year we really lacked a genuine impact player in that role and if rookied he'll be upgraded immediately.

Still don't think it's a good idea though.
