There is still a div 4 ammos, do u think we are r3tarded and don't know that u muppett, there is 7 divs in ammos

How did everyone go today? Lyndale won by 4 goals with bout 6 out

We all clearly some don’t if they are referring to them as an EFL div 4 side.

Pretty poor effort all the same against such a lowly ranked club. Could be in for a long season.

Doveton played Heatherton. And got rolled by 6-7 goals. Heaps out of the side but kicking 2.18 or something didn't help.

For those in div 2, Heatherton looked a lot more organized than last year. Played a high press and worked hard defensively.

Good hit out.

Yeah was a good hit out although the wind made for scrappy play at times......would've liked it to be a bit more open. Doveton will defiantly be up there in Div 3 this year. Some handy inclusions. Heatherton had a few out as well but that's practice matches. Also didn't have their kicking boots on scoring 9.13 or something like that? Doveton ground will test some of the less fit sides in Div 3. In magnificent condition and wish we got to play there again this year.

At the end of the day practice matches don't mean sh*t. Everyone's always got an excuse of we had 6-8 players out, and everyone plays teams irrelevant to the division with exception to Mount and Hallams game. The real business begins this week. Based on clearances, "grape vine info" and form from last year, here's this weeks winners.

Moorabbin def. Dandenong
Lyndale def. South Yarra
Hallam def. Lyndhurst
Doveton def. Sandown
Endeavour def. Ashwood
Mount def. CPL

Moorabbin def. Dandenong by 80
Lyndale def. South Yarra by 13
Hallam def. Lyndhurst by 60
Doveton def Sandown by 74
Ashwood def. Endeavour Hills by 15
Mount Waverley def. CPL by 35

Round 1
Moorabbin, have lost a few players but will still win easy 8 goals.
Lyndale, have begged players to come back & recruited some older D2 players will win by 40 points.
Lyndhurst vs Hallam well done to the league as 1 of them will have a win at the end of the day Hallam by 5 goals on the MCG.
Doveton Eagles gets a soft entry back into D3 to open their account it might get ugly at power road.
Ashwood vs EH, both sides promise a lot deliver nothing another one that will go to the team with the home ground advantage.
Mount Waverley vs CPL,Mount have recruited the grandstand down there plenty of depth and a list envious of others Mount by 10 goals.

Hopefully all our recruited reserves players can deliver

D3 ammos is actually the 6th division of the VAFA. Lower than EFL Div 4.
there's been various comments above, but the fact that it is 6th division does not make it weaker. The divisions are relative. I would venture through some educated guesses that the weakest sides in VAFA DIV3 would comfortably beat the weakest sides in EFL DIV4 but lose to the top sides. By the same assumption I think the best sides in DIV3 would be on a par or beat the best sides in EFL DIV4 depending on the relative recruiting. Warrandyte last year probably would have been around d1/d2 amateurs, but Nunawading and surrey park at the bottom of D4 amateurs(I hear Surrey have recruited fairly well though) They play in separate competitions so you will never truly know, even from practice matches. Ashwood beating Richmond Central looks like a handy practice match result though if you want to read anything into practice matches
