Way too many Mount players in this team. Up until last Saturday, they were 4th, two games behind the leader. Admittedly they beat the top team last week, but one win does not justify so many in a Div 3 "best of" side.
From the Hampton side of things, which Evans are you referring to? Matt, who was best on a few weeks ago, or Tom who has put in a number of great games before going overseas for the last couple of weeks. Lachlan Batt has played all year at Half Back, so a HFF selection is plain stupid & uninformed. Also, this team would be a much better one with Reeve Walsh (#8 Hampton) and Ryan Pearce (#22 Hampton) who have played great footy all year. Furthermore, the big sleeper in Div 3 is Evan Price (#49 Hampton) who continues to go about his business in defence without being beaten week after week. But without doubt, the biggest miss in your team is Drew Fletcher (#43 Hampton) an elusive mid sized forward who kicks goals every week in a very good side.
Also, nothing said about the laconic Les Wooderson (#13 Skye) who continues to kick multiple goals week after week. A worthy inclusion in the team of an informed Div 3 commentator.

That should adjust the imbalance in favour of the stronger Div 3 teams who set the pace in this competition.

Agree wih you on Costick. Very good player. Didnt do a pre season this year but is getting back to best.
Think a couple would be ahead of Cafisso at the moment.

I'm no Div 3 expert and will never claim to be, but looking at the ladder alone, 4th is clear of 5th after seven rounds by 10 Premiership points (Doveton are 5-2, Dragons 2-4-1). That alone suggests that there is a gulf in the competition from 1-4 to 5-8 that would see the side mainly picked from top four teams.

With that being said I completely agree about Cosstick...very good footballer.

Well just in case you didn't know, which i'm sure you did, in the last two seasons: 1 league b&f, 2 club b&f's while playing in a team that finished minor premiers both years and a BOG in a grand final that went into overtime. I'm pretty sure his record speaks for its self.
As for who's tried to gain his services, well I KNOW he has tried to be approached by a Div 1 EFL team, a C grade Ammo team and a Div 1 SFL team.
Clearly your just an old man who is washed up, achieved nothing and is trying to bring down anyone he can to make himself feel better.

I see Wilkin made they interleague sqaud but was left out on the day. Barr from Skye played and by all accounts handled himself OK.
