Any pre-season news??

I hear Power House & Albert Park both struggling for numbers but early days, St Francis Xavier are going very well lost none got a few and if my source is right based on numbers on the track Richmond Central will be lucky to field one side?

Cosmo21...welcome aboard...just joined the ranks of big footy a few short months ago and already assuming the role of commedian!

You wouldn't know where Power House and Albert Park were...let alone Richmond.

At least we know we will be in for some good laughs from you next season!

no burner no power house.Sorry house but i think you will drop this year as Edwards can not do everything burner gave your mid field a lot of first use of the ball and was a good target around the ground. Its huge loss for the house , power house might need a name change from Power house to S##t house for 2012

Speaking to a guy i work with yesterday who is a keen Aquinas supporter and he tells me that they have had about 7 sessions so far with over 65 players have trained. Its good to see they seem to have finally got there act together and maybe 2012 could a big one for them

hope for their sake they are a dif 65 blokes than what represented the club last yr

Massive loss for the Hawks - R Ogge - one of the toughest I played on a few years back. Ripping bloke too.

Chump.

Quality player Rick Ogge, will be sorely missed at Rathmines.

How have the Hawks been travelling this pre season, many numbers on the track? Is the new coach bringing any players with him?

"Get around me"!!!

Be fair and give them time Chump.

Let's face it, after announcing that they'd have the fixtures released by Dec 5, they managed to get a-c sections out by the 12th(keep the old school tie happy); they then announced that the D Sections will be released over the next week and have moved heaven and earth to get the D1 fixture out by Thursday afternoon.

You can't expect them to forego the Christmas Lunch at the Melbourne club today and next week will be full of corporate events; then there is Christmas and then it's the Boxing Day test in the Long Room and then New Year.

Then it's January at the beach house in Portsea so I'd be anticipating some time in February.

What are the chances of two N Lambert's in D3 both heading to WA??? Unless of course you're referring to our (Ivanhoe) N Lambert who headed West mid 2011 season??!
Nath Lambert has moved back to the Gold Coast, not WA. Oggie will be a big loss at the Hawks. New coach has bought half a dozen players with him. Look reasonably handy on the track.
We've had 45 train which is pretty good for pre Xmas.
How are other teams shaping up so far? Good to have Richmond Centrals back in our Div. Always a good bunch of blokes and good hot dogs in their canteen!

most clubs should have the draft draw by now

Another "draft" is out now... This gives everyone a chance to complain before the final draw is released. Teams that had a good draw in the first draft, now get their chance to complain. Usually the second draft is the final draft.

This season is shaping up to be a little unusual on the admin side of things.

Scott Timmins is an absolute GUN! He will star.

Get some money on him for the league medal because he's a cut above D3 standard and should stand out like the proverbial.

Saw Scott Timmins in his Hawthorn training singlet recently. What a rig! He's ripped and ready to take D3 apart.

Good luck to any midfielder who comes up against this bloke because you'll have your work cut out for you. Even worse if he's resting in the forward pocket on some crappy back-pocket. He'll kick bags.

STAR!

Hey Red Gum... Will the Spartans (?) be running around in clubbies again this year? They had some pretty handy players, any chance of recruiting a few or will they be staying the course? Do they have plans to form a new D4 club on their own at some point?

Hey Waz,

I have no idea about Spartans (other than the historical ones). NOBS have a Club XVIII side. That's the only one I know if in Brunswick atm.

arnt watts higgs & kirk all young blokes like mid 20's? hope the all might $$$ hasnt found these bloke out

Puff Puff - Yes Watts work transfer to Adelaide since last July. Gorringe returning to Tasmania with family who also come from there. Been a fantastic player at Uni High for many seasons. AJ & Tuna have retired & several others have moved on. Kirk & Higgs will play I think.

Obvious the new coach will be looking closely at me to fill one of these vacancies?? We will have a young side that will benefit in the long run.

Definitely looking for more players to come into our club 18 and under 18 sides.

They're Hawthorn's clubbies. Not sure why I thought you'd know anything about them. Carry on.

Go Snakes!

Just wondering when clubs are resuming their preseason training? Also have most clubs got their paccy matches lines up yet?

Also things have been pretty quiet on here lately, anyone care to have a go at predicting the following?

2012 Premiers:
2012 Top 5:
Big Improvers:
Big Sliders:
