Autopsy Dogs smash the Bombers: 137 - 33

We've won by 100 points,it's a very even comp. and most teams have dropped games they should have won.
We're young and have been pretty good since the bye.
Look, if we win the next two, results with Adelaide/Essendon/Port go our way and we scrape in then we win an elimination final then I'll be content where we are for the year

Until then it's hollow for me

I hope we show intent in the off season

Massive chance to play finals. Bombers will finish ninth on percentage and us eighth if we win the last two! Percentage won't even be close after tonights shlleacking!! Go Dogs

What's great is that if Adelaide lose to Eagles tomorrow (likely), then we may actually be able to afford a loss against GWS to get into finals. With Port's upcoming run of easy as matches I think they're locked for 7th place. Not that a single loss is ideal, but it gives us a potential extra life. I think two wins would all but guarantee we sneak in the 8 though.

What makes this better is that everyone has a dickhead Bombers mate.
To quote Van Morrison:

When it's not always raining there'll be days like this
When there's no one complaining there'll be days like this
When everything falls into place like the flick of a switch
Well my mama told me there'll be days like this
When you don't need to worry there'll be days like this
When no one's in a hurry there'll be days like this
When you don't get betrayed by that old Judas kiss
Oh my mama told me there'll be days like this
When you don't need an answer there'll be days like this
When you don't meet a chancer there'll be days like this
When all the parts of the puzzle start to look like they fit it
Then I must remember there'll be days like this
There'll be days like this
When everyone is up front and they're not playing tricks
When you don't have no freeloaders out to get their kicks
When it's nobody's business the way that you want to live
I just have to remember there'll be days like this
When no one steps on my dreams there'll be days like this
When people understand what I mean there'll be days like this
When you ring out the changes of how everything is
Well my mama told me there'll be days like this
Oh my mama told me
There'll be days like this
Oh my mama told me
There'll be days like this
Oh my mama told me
There'll be days like this
Oh my mama told me
There'll be days like this
“We had you down on your knees
We were kicking you in the head
We tried to hang you from the trees
We didn't stop until you were dead

We must bury you
We must bury you
We must bury you so deep
That no one should find you

Forgive me for covering my eyes
Forgive me for not saving you
Forgive me for being so unwise
Forgive me for letting this be true

We must bury you
We must bury you
We must bury you so deep
That no one should find you”

That’s my song for tonight

Now that I think about it I’m concerned about the Adelaide teams.

Port now being in good form means we probably have to win both games. I think the bombers miss out now.
Port has the easiest draw IIRC out of the finals aspirants, will be a massive choke if they don't make it now, Adelaide has us and West Coast still, should they lose to West Coast tomorrow then Port will extend their percentage gap on them

Freo still in the hunt too now if they win the next two weeks against St Kilda and Essendon, but their percentage is worse than ours.

It'll probably be a bridge too far for Hawthorn though

For mine our hopes lie on Essendon falling in a heap and dropping out plus we win the last two.

I've got pies beating crows next week. But a lot could depend on tomorrow's game v Eagles. For the first time in a while I'll be barracking for the Eagles to win well.
2016 proves you never know what might happen. Would be great for the young blokes and our ability to attract players during the trade period if we make it.

Having McLean and Dale find form at this time of the year is massive. And if Schache can make a cameo like he did tonight and bring the ball to ground really eases the pressure off Naughton. Who again was f*****g huge. He’s going to be an absolute star.

Will Hayes made me eat a shit sandwich tonight. Albeit being agaits witches hats. He really shown some tricks tonight I wasn’t hire he possessed. Kudos to him and glad he proved me wrong. Let’s hope he can repeat it against GWS.

Used pick 5 on him too for memory or have you forgotten that bit. ;)

Also got a flag with him, got his best footy out of him and then shipped him off to a basket case who hasn’t won a final since a lot of schoolgirls going around were born

One question was a one of them to advantage?? If it was I didn't see it
I do distinctly recall a number of hit outs to advantage coming from Clarke.

Oh, you mean to the advantage of Essendon? Then no, probably got none. I was surprised by how much supply we got from Clarke tbh, probably more than we even got from English, despite how good he was

Just back from the game, I must admit....I’m still in shock. I’ve waited a bloody long time to beat that mob by over 100! Shame about the last 3 goals, but we won nearly every position on the ground tonight, Essendon were witches hats at times though it must be said. Smith great game, Timmy and Schache great, apart from Josh dropping about 5 marks, still tried all night. Great game by Hayes, proved a few of us wrong. Stringer is still a lazy shit. Happy times

Hawks still well and truely in the equation as well, have Gold Coast next week.
