Last week lets use hunter as trade bait one word for who ever said your pathetic and a disgrace and a super flog as the chief would say one bad game lol
Don't worry about it dude, people want to trade Hunter,McLean,Dunkley...they want to pension off Dickson and Wood...they're not even willing to give Hayes a chance...some people just like to say stuff so they're saying stuff...enjoy the win friend,it was a big one.

Fox Footy are showing Melbourne vs Collingwood as Game of the Day, WTAF?!

That game was a putrid crime against humanity.

Watching us pile on 21 goals straight with exhilarating footy was more entertaining than that snore feat at the MCG today.

And during the night they are replaying Port vs Swans, Geelong vs Norf and Brisbane vs Gold Coast and an Open Mike episode - WTF?

(I didn’t tape our game, before anyone asks)

I know people will be curious about the last time we won by 100.

So I did the research. https://finalsiren.com/MatchDetails.asp?GameID=4319&Code=bf175670a2d6d7636ed017fffdca3837

Round 1, 2006: Western Bulldogs 25.17 167 def Richmond Tigers 7.10 52

Brad Johnson had 23 touches, 11 marks, and kicked 5 goals.

Eagleton 4 goals.

3 goals to Matthew Robbins.

2 each to Crossy, Bob, Boyd, and Adam Morgan.

Singles to Scott West, former captain turned traitor who netted us premiership hero Tom Boyd, Hahn, Wayde Skipper, and Gilbee.

(And one Dale Morris, in typical Moz fashion, puts up the Moz special of 10 touches and 7 tackles, as dependable as ever)

There's a nostalgic fun fact for the night.

And this form from Bailey Dale isn’t a fluke. He’s a seriously talented footballer. Playing a role we have desperately been crying out for. Well done kid.

I went to an intra-club preseason game the season before last. Because you could stand on the boundary line you could examine all the players up close, and I saw him and his quick hands and quick mind and I thought ‘geez that kid is one smart footballer’

The only thing wrong with him earlier in the year was that his confidence dropped, we weren’t going so good & nor was he. I could see his shoulders dropping with every shanked kick.

But Bev is a people person & he knows how to get the best out of these players. I love Bev. We doubted him but only Clarkson is better. It’s not just about coaching it’s about having faith and seeing what’s there.

Plus Bailey Dale is the spit of my nephew who has had some tough times but has a heart of gold. I’m so happy he’s come good. He will be around for a while.

Fair play to our recruitment team too we’ve picked the eyes out of the 30-45 range of the draft. And thanks to all our past players & their high quality semen. They must have all married the girls from the netball club

Apart from the first 10 seconds and last 5 minutes, basically the most perfect game of football I've seen us play. Scary thing is, I still think we have room for improvement. Obvious the bombers aren't a great indicator of how good we performed, so I hope we play just as well next week. I might hold off thinking about next week for a an hour or 10 though.

We haven’t had that many to be honest.

Without researching, before that Richmond one, I recall one in 1994 against Fitzroy, and one in 1992 and 1985 both against Melbourne.

Look, if we win the next two, results with Adelaide/Essendon/Port go our way and we scrape in then we win an elimination final then I'll be content where we are for the year

Until then it's hollow for me

I hope we show intent in the off season
Massive improvement on last year, that is something.

Let’s just enjoy the night.

Not seen Duryea play at Hawthorn much. was solid as a backline player, but has matured. he is very solid and adds confidence to the backline. this was an 8 point win game due to the 4 points and the percentage. go west coast and sainters.

Come to think of it- Trengove,,Suckling, Dureya, Crozier and Lloyd- what a series of pick ups? Nearly of all of them were not getting a game or were marginal players and none of them cost much.,Full credit to Bevo and recruiters there.

Reckon in 98 we beat Brisbane by 100 or thereabouts at Optus Oval.

Still smiling far too much to be healthy. I hate Essendon more than every other team.

First 100 point victory for the year for any team!

I looked at the two teams during the warm up and I thought, holy crap our mob is superior. Then Essendon kicked the first and I thought “stay calm”. The rest of the game confirmed my initial thought

Me too ... very glad to see Bailey Dale come good , but also Naughton and Schache, mobile English, and a mix of others such as Lloyd, Tory and Toby all working really well together.

And Bont played a mere mortal game and got holding the ball three times. Lipinski looked better. Not that he is. Bont was pretty much taking the piss.

When Essendon scored their second goal everyone cheered like in was an Auskick game. Our supporters wouldn’t stand for that shit. Theatregoers.

There seemed a genuine dislike with stringer as well and our boys. He went after Dunks with that piss weak spoil. Baz getting stuck into him was amazing. Kid just moves like he has all the time in the world. Reckon we have a ferrari pulling into the midfield garage next year he is a star

You go for the best kid in the draft, not the best potential

Mine was the Dons but being a more regular poster now on Big Footy how can you not move the Hawks to #1. Literally got told today that they are amazing drafters cause they drafted Tim O'Brien... legit serious... that and there ruck division is better than ours yet we have the best young ruck in the comp. Absolute imbeciles

Duryea is fantastic because he's a genuinely good defender that can also hurt teams going the other way. Crozier isn't as damaging as Duryea but he's no slouch either, so it's the same deal. Provides intercept marking/spoiling and is reliable taking it out. So when you've got Trengove/Cordy/Wood/Morris with no offensive game, or JJ/Suckling/Caleb who are backline guys not known for defensive capabilities, Duryea stands out just because he's a steady force back there.

Also have Crozier at 4th/5th best this season for us. Probably 4th. Bont/Dunkley/Macrae excluded I don't think anyone else on the team has outperformed Crozier. Basically become what Easton was for us in 15/16.
