Very tumultuous time at Collingwood, particularly within administration. That was around the time Collingwood and Richmond 'went to war' with each other poaching players and spending far too much money. Taylor, Raines, Walsh, Cloke, were pawns in a seemingly spiteful period between the two clubs. It's no wonder that Cahill chose to walk away...

what is it about these multinational corporations advertising in areas that have nothing to do with their products. The Amazon ones are bad enough. I'd like to tell that little girl taking her old fraile granny to the footy that she could phone geelong and ask them about their women's matches. Who knows, the club might have given them a couple of free tickets if they knew an old ex player was coming down to watch the game. As for the immigrants wanting to know where to buy a footy, go down to the nearest shopping mall and find a sports store. It's not that hard. Who needs Google to find out about this crap. If Jeff paid his taxes maybe gov'ts could provide more facilities to the community but we know Jeff hates to pay taxes. He prefers to make commercials that take credit for things that have nothing to do with Google.

Now we have Colgate. Colgate and hearing? Excuse me????? Hearing .....Colgate? Maybe the overpaid advertising exec can see the connection but this is like me taking credit for world peace because I read about it on the net last week.

And dont even mention the lies. NAB and more than money...lol...geez.

message to corporations who like to attach themselves to the sport of AFL. Pay your taxes. Clean up after yourself and dont pollute the environment. Treat people fairly and respectfully. Charge a fair price for your product. Yeh I know. Not very sexy.....
