Jesus loves me
You're not going to like this. I gave up drinking 6 days or so ago.
This is why I'm quieter then usual.
See how far I can go. It's bloody hard as I drink 7 days per week.
First time trying this in decades and the whole world looks boring although I'm feeling better.

This Jesus still loves you too.

Good effort FJ
Keep it up.
You can do it.

6 days, can I have an invite for the 7th?

I'm assuming that's the day you invent hookahs & coke.

Good luck mate. I wish you the best.

I’m trying to cut down by having alcohol free days during the week, and drinking less on the weekend.

It’s a work in progress as I’m currently nursing a mild hangover 🤕

Thanks mate. Good to hear that you will cut down. I do not have a stop button once I start drinking.
Things I've noticed in only the space of a week.
Lots of cash left over in my wallet.
Looking less puffier in the face.
Sleeping really well and feeling fantastic in the morning.
Energy levels through the roof.
Dropped some weight already.

On about the 3rd day of giving up my kidneys hurt for a couple of days. Doc says it's normal as they work overtime to flush out all the crap. This frightened me so decided not to start again.
It really is poison.

Good on you obese messiah!

The physical improvement will pay handsome dividends. Keep at it and if you do slip, be kind to yourself and get back on the horse.

I've been cutting down on alcohol free days too, haven't had one for a couple of years.

Looking for good vibes.

I'm gonna go into the hospital tomorrow, getting a GP appointment is almost impossible.

I found a lump at the top of my breast. It could be nothing, but its tender to the touch, so I'd prefer to know.

Sending all the good vibes and love from the Kelly family!

Good work on not delaying it! Early detection is the key!

Will be thinking of you tomorrow!

Good luck Fat Jesus - I've done Feb Fast every year for the past 5 years, the first two weeks are tough and then it becomes a habit not to have a drink - I generally don't have a drink until mid March or later. My Feb Fast in 2021 lasted until the following January. I now have 4 alcohol free days each week and try to stick with the guidelines for drinks per day and per week. Good thing is that my wine storage area is full of good wine, and I really appreciate a drink when I have one.

I’m trying for four AFD this week. Then going camping on Friday so the beers will be hit pretty hard!

Enjoy the camping, I just got back from Angler's Rest in the High Country - if the Blue Duck Hotel isn't one of the best pubs for location then I'm no judge. I've taken to drinking low/no alcohol beer - my personal favourite is Coopers Ultra Light - I'm yet to find someone who has picked it as a light beer without knowing. There's a bit of stigma around ultra light beers, I reckon it's un-deserved.

I’ve tried them and some aren’t bad. Also don’t mind the Balter mid strength, Captain Sensible.

I’ll give the Coopers ultra light a try 👍
