Forgot that. Pick 2 + f2nd for 6 and 11 would work
Looks about right. Or 6, 18, F2 for 2, F2
6 + 11 looks too much. 6 + 18 too little.

No chance of us giving up our F2Looks about right. Or 6, 18, F2 for 2, F2

No offence, but how do you know? I wouldn’t have a clue what Brady Rawlings is planning. I know what I want him to do, but I’ve got nothing to do with it. It’s an interesting time with all the futures etc being involved and the amazing draft hand you guys hold. But I’m tipping you don’t know what players they have on their board for this year or next, as do I.No chance of us giving up our F2
Yeah but Willy T hearts Tauru. Big throb.
Tauru at 2? Nah. You're trading back. Tauru and a good kid is better than Tauru and a dreg. You'll be able to get a good kid at 24.
This is pretty funny coming for someone with Gowron as their Av.Port supporters want a player with a non weird name like Joe or John
It's a draft with alot of good players depth wise, but no super star stand outs. There’s talk that this draft is pretty overrated.
I don’t know if it’s an overreaction or if that’s even the right word. But there’s a feeling that even though there’s a lot of depth in this draft, it’s hardly a super draft.

Hahaha - pigs arssssseee.Forgot that. Pick 2 + f2nd for 6 and 11 would work
Lol you want me to go back 18 years???
Just when i thought you hit rock bottom you now start to dig.....
Yep, this is a really interesting draft with gold to be found but it's no super draft. But as a person who doesn't really support an AFL team.....this kind of draft is more fascinating. It's a draft with alot of good players depth wise, but no super star stand outs.
Lol. Why would we trade pick 2 for LESS than what it's worth?
Normally you would have to pay a bit of a premium to upgrade from 6 to 2. However given this draft is more even than usual, then it's reasonable to trade based on even points. If you go by the revised draft points system beginning next year, 6 and 10 or 6 and 11 is right in that ballpark. 6 and 18 is a flat out joke.
There's still a big difference between pick 2 and 6, even in this draft. Pick 2, you get whoever you want. Pick 6, you get whoever is left.
Again - how far back do you want to go? I thought 10-11 years was plenty - and i thought you would prefer to forget the Jimmy Toumpus draft!!What about Ollie Wines?
Would be comical if North traded down for Tauru only for Dees to ping him at 5 instead.
Yeah feels like a draft where you get Shai Bolton and Tom Stewart late but McGrath goes pick 1
Not true. There are different types of players in the draft, such as Sam Lalor, who is very different to Jagga Smith. If you have pick 2, you get to pick the type of player that you need more than another. For instance, Sam Lalor has alot more forward potential, and is more damaging on the scoreboard than Sam Draper is.Let it go. You won't convince anyone. In such a flat top end, the difference between 2 and 6 is negligible. There is only bragging rights in having that pick, you won't get a fundamentally better player
Well that's a random drive by. Thanks matecould only dream they will be as good as jhe clarke
yeah plus clear top 5 imo is lalor, FOS, Jagga, Draper and LangfordNot true. There are different types of players in the draft, such as Sam Lalor, who is very different to Jagga Smith. Yes good post. This is exactly how the teams will look at it as well. Not true. There are different types of players in the draft, such as Sam Lalor, who is very different to Jagga Smith. I think there might be a couple of clubs who have Tauru in that group, which is what makes this draft so interesting. Pick 6 could end up being a really pivotal pick.yeah plus clear top 5 imo is lalor, FOS, Jagga, Draper and Langford
then a gap to the next rung
Sid DraperNot true. There are different types of players in the draft, such as Sam Lalor, who is very different to Jagga Smith. Jagga Smith? One of the biggest question for the draft is if both Lalor and Finn are gone 1 and 2, who does Carlton take?
The next two rated picks would be Jagger Smith and Sam Draper, and from all accounts Carltons number 1 hope is for Finn to be there at their pick.
It's a draft with alot of good players depth wise, but no super star stand outs.
It's a super draft, but any claims of Super-Draft (TM) is pure pandering BS. As with any drafting, you can only tell with hindsight, and then you claim you knew it all along and everyone else was stupid for not believing this absolute certaintyExactly.
Most of the noise is just a batch of Richmond supporters + Jon Ralph proclaiming it the best draft of all time because of their draft hand.
Pure hopium.
There's a massive pool of first round worthy talent.
But some posters are absolutely kidding themselves if they think the likes of FOS/Lalor would go anywhere near some of the recent top midfield prospects of the last 6-7 drafts.
FOS had a terrific bottom age year, but so did most of the best prospects of the last decade and Lalor has more than a few question marks that most others haven't had since probably Rayner.
Ashcroft and Smith are probably the only two who've had worthy #1 years on paper.
It's shallow at the top, but deep in the middle of the first round for probably another 20 selections. Which is what makes it such a well rated draft.
They tried that last week and couldn't get pick 13 for it.If they want that they will just trade their future 1st into this year.
Smillie > Jaggayeah plus clear top 5 imo is lalor, FOS, Jagga, Draper and Langford
then a gap to the next rung
