Bo Allan doesn't make sense for Freo anyway they already have Johnson and Erasmus struggling to find a place in the team

That on paper sounds terrible.

You have to remember at that point (live trade) they are trading for a specific player not a general pick no so if that player is in the top 7-8 on their board they would see it as value.

Probably yes but I wouldn't be surprised if they traded the pick into next year and took a hannaford or similar type with a later pick.

They won't get Hannaford at a later pick. Similar type? Who? Dattoli? He doesn't have the pace and is probably gone by their pick 30 as well.

Freo should be able to get Berry or Hannaford at 14.

The only way I would entertain it would be with pick 8, if all the top line mids from this batch are already gone. (ie. no one picks up tauru, Armstrong or trainer before our first pick)
Would only really want to do it, if I could also swap saints F1 with a 2024 FRDP to get a second pick back in the top 15 this year.

Bolton is Fyfes replacement. Fyfe capitulated last year and had to move to a defensive midfield role when idea was him to be more offensive.

Walters is a stay at home forward for 100 percent of the game so needs a different replacement

I have a nephew who does a bit of scouting work for the Dees who has gained the impression that they really like Tauru. It’s interesting if true as North would potentially miss out on him if they traded back to 6 with Richmond as a consequence. Obviously no teams will have finalized their picks or strategies yet, but you would assume that North would be aware of this interest if it does in fact exist.

There hasn't really been any. Media gone quiet, probably under instruction from AFL House.

Hard to know if rumours, as most of the stuff you just read on here, but Melb are into Tauru at pick 5 apparently.......not sure if true, but you would think that would change North's interest in trading out of 2 if it was. Dees Jason Taylor a very good operator though, so could see him positioning Dees to take pick 2 by floating that as well. Wouldn't think Dees would give us 5 and 9 for 2 though, but who knows. I'm not sure what else Melb has to offer and have heard that they are very happy with where they sit.
