Tauru hasn’t played for a month approx and has climbed boards at a rapid rate. He could go at 1 at the rate he has climbed. I don’t think he will, I’m projecting.

I like Tauru don’t get me wrong.

I see him as a KPF as well which adds to the appeal, especially for north.

I just have him a rung below the top 5 mids. Who all offer something different, and FOS, Lalor, and Langford have wonderful versatility.

It seems incredibly likely that North’s objective is to get Tauru AND another pick in the top 20, and there are only so many ways that this might happen.

I do love how some of you are desperately pretending that this isn’t what North is trying to do though, and that it’s only clubs trying to trade up to 2, and not North actively trying to trade down.

You must think we all came down in the last shower.

Unlikely to be F1 trades until the night and it will depend on whether the team rates the guys still available highly enough. Significant movement prior is looking unlikely - unless someone offers North something they feel confident gets their man and something decent extra.

If we combine that with the St Kilda offer. We'd have 7, 16, 37 without degrading our future hand. Tauru, Hannaford, Barrat/Sims would be ideal for us.

It won't come into 50. There's been talk of Pies picks coming in that much, but it's more like 12 picks might get used for matching (at the most) but that will be for about 6 players who all push you back one spot as well.

Yeah it’s too late for my brain to attempt it but if 12 comes out for matching 62 comes into 50. The. You add back the nominated players and it blows out again but we are still selecting the 50th best player of those that are available
