Ablett is in doubt?
I traded in Tarrant last week (from Hall), but since I've got Davis sitting on my bench, even the thought of Tarrant being dropped isn't that big a deal for my situation. If I were you I'd probably lean towards keeping Gumbleton, but I guess that depends on how many trades you have.

Hi all,
I'm looking for a good cheap trade for Ziebell in my midfield.
My others mids are Swan Ablett Bartel Montagna Hodge Beams and Gysberts.
I've got 7 trades left and $142800.00 in the bank.
I was looking at Blair but I'm not sure if he'll play out the year.

I need to make some cash in order to upgrade Yarran/Kennedy:
My defence and rucks are good, and these are my mids and forwards:
Swan, Bartel, Montagna, Gibbs, Goodes, Mitchell (Shuey, Rohan)
Buddy, O’Keefe, Didak, SJ, Rockliff, Kennedy, Yarran (Hitchcock, Watts)
Am I better off to:
a) Downgrade Hitchcock to Tarrant (gain 110k)
b) Downgrade Watts to Tarrant (gain 99k)
c) Downgrade Rohan to McNeil (gain 118k)
Keep in mind I only have 4 trades left, so I am generally trying to be cautious and keep one or two spare for finals time injuries.
My initial thoughts are that (a) is a better option than (b), as I would say Watts is in the team for good this year, so could be a good bench player to have.
However, what about option (c)? I would make more money, and would keep the DP link with my forwards, and still have two good bench warmers in the forwards. Of course, I am still exposed if there is a late withdrawal in my mids.
I guess this depends on the likelihood of Rohan, and even Shuey, coming back into their team(s). If Rohan is very unlikely to come back, then (c) is probably the best option. If he will come back, then maybe it’s (a).

Personally I would go with option A. I think Tarrent will be given a fair amount of game time given his last few years. Watts should be a solid performer for you as well.
Another option could be to go Hitchcock-> McNeil which would allow you some extra cash + you could swap him and Rohan around easier. Just an option.
Now for my dilema...
Not sure whether I should go-
Hille-> Cox and Ball-> Boyd
OR
Hille-> Jolly and Ball-> Hayes/NDS/Selwood/Judd
If option B, who to choose out of those 4?

TDL & Franklin out....so moving Kreuzer on and getting Tippett back in forwards to cover Franklin.

Id probably go for jolly and hayes
both teams are really pushing for a great finish to the end of the season, same with those two players, hayes is already a proven performer. Cox may even get rested towards the end, i know its unlikely but that is something to think about.

Thanks mate. I would go option B, and go for Juddy given his current price - I reckon he's a bargain.
Yeah, I think you might be right about Cox. One small niggle and he'll be put on ice.
Not sure whether Hayes will be rested though, thats my only concern with him.
Oh and BTW, I would look at Robbie Tarrant. Think he may be able to get some games under his belt this year
Ok boys, TDL is out so im confused on who should i downgrade zeibell to. should i just go for TDL anyway, the obvious thing is that dam ZERO im going to cop with franklin, so close to having a full side in likee 6 weeks, yet again a player fails me.

If you go for TDL you will be copping a 0 in your forward line with Franklin out, if that is your only option you may as well save the trade for this week, what is the cash earmarked for?

Hey mate I was just thinking about this suggestion - sounds ok in theory but how does having McNeil AND Rohan help me (esp given neither are playing right now) - surely just having Rohan or McNeil is enough, given I have O'Keefe, Didak etc who I can swap them with? Or am I missing something?

luckily i have Banner as my other emergency, so i'll bring in Blair.
i'm also tempted to get McNeil to save $$$ but i think that's being greedy.

i've been forced to trade Franklin because my cover is O'Brien/Roberts
Armstrong -> Blair
Franklin -> Chapman
leaves me with 4 trades, 130k and a mighty strong team
We may have jinxed you mate; it was only the other day a few of us commented in the "completed teams" thread that your forward bench was your weakest link. Anyways, i wish i had a side that looked half as good as yours
