I'm in pretty good shape, plenty of trades and cash left, any suggestions for who to chop and change?

Solid Team. Most appear to be keepers or cash cows not ripe to be sold. Only Hall and Ziebell look like upgrading types, and from what you have to choose from there, someone like higgins or even didak could be a good choice. Where are you ranked?I'm in pretty good shape, plenty of trades and cash left, any suggestions for who to chop and change?
Just snuck into the top 4K after this last round, I feel like persisting with Ziebell, I feel he'll be a lot better by year's end.Solid Team. I'd trade Hitchcock or Gumby, and free up $70k. Neither are going to earn you massive points on the field, and both players could get dropped in the near future. My bottom 3 FWD's are Gumbleton, Hitchcock and Relton Roberts.
Do I need to get in Podsiadly or Rockliffe, and if so who for? Do I use Roberts, allowing my team greater depth, or do I ship out Hitchcock or Gumby, freeing up around 70k?
I am stumped on this atm.
I'd get rid of Roberts firstly. He doesn't look like he will be anything special.
Gumbleton is the player I would keep out of those three. He is more likely to be guaranteed a starting spot ahead of Hitchcock.
I have a question that is more about strategy than specfic players.
I've set out my 20 trades such that 8 will be used for injury and 12 will be used for upgrades.
I'm currently trying to do a rough guide of when i'm going to use my trades. Would it be considered mis-management if I have finished my upgrade trades by around round 12-14? I'd obviously still have my injury trades that I could use in case something went wrong, but is it better to get your team sorted and finished reasonably early, or to save a couple of upgrades until the final rounds?
Alot of people arn't interested in saving trades this year. I think alot of teams will burn out.
Ive only used 19 and that was forced through Riewoldt.
Im looking to use another 2 this week as im falling behind the pack a little. I dropped from 700 to 2400. However i had Stanton, Franklin out and had to play 5 rookies.
I have 16k left over and will be looking to do a downgrade and than an upgrade. Now im going to get rid of my weakest scorers first and look to get in some guns.
Players on the chopping block are Tippett, Dangerfield, Hall.
But there are so many good rookies who are on the bubble. In the backline you have Schmit (Adel), Stratton (Hawks). Midfield Lucas, Colyer, Melksham, Forwards Pods, Rockliffe ect.
Because of all the good rookies and the need for cash im considering making two downgrades in the same round because of the quality available. I dont really like the midfielders that much, but the backs and forwards are both quite tempting.
At the moment the downgrade im pretty set on is Dangerfield to Rockliffe or Pods (probably Rockliffe). Than upgrade either Tippett to Cox or B.Hall to Goodes. Im also considering Hille for Tippett as Cox could breakdown and the increasing evolution of NN. Although on the weekend i think he had 77% TOG compared to 65% in the first 3 rounds. If anyone could clarify this stat it would be good. With Cox i would like to see one more week to check his TOG and see just where hes at. So the trade im looking at is Goodes and Rockliffe IN for Dangerfield and Hall. Also im thinking about not trading Hall yet because he plays the struggling crows this week and could have a big day, although Rutten has held him in the past and i dont think Rutten has conceded many goals against him so far this year considering there massive defeats.
Also does anyone know when PODS will be back on the rookie list. M.Brown im expecting will be ready to play again soon. Can Geelong put another player on the LTI or can they leave him on the senior list due to veterans ect. Anyone know more about this.
Gee youve burnt through a few
i think it is a good idea tho to start trying to get some cash in the bank. I have a similar forward situation as you with Tippet struggling, Hall scoring anywhere between 40 and 110 (Generally 40) And i have wright instead of danger who is stinking it up badly!
If i were you id probably to schmidt (however you spell it) over stratton. The hawks have a massive injury list and could be hard for stratton to hold his spot.
Whats not to like about lucas? His scored very well in his first two games and Carlton have virtually no injuries...
IM also keen to know about the pods situation. I want to downgrade to him to generate as much cash in the back as possible however im not sure about the whole rookie list thing and his job security. Anyone have any insight to this?

Why Dangerfield? I see him improving markedly over the course of the year.
