gist is that until the next election:
- in play betting banned (didn't mention whether over the phone can still be done, but did mention the Will Hill style click to call would be impacted)
- unregulated betting with overseas bookies banned

scope post election to then review the in play stuff (i.e. its too politically risky to allow it now, but when we win the election we can bring it in) but the overseas ban would stay. whichi would probably be enough to get pinny to shut up shop here even if the law has workarounds, as they've done in the UK etc, which would be horrendous

It really is an absolute joke. I'm no big time punter but I've always enjoyed having a look at form guides and watching the races while trying my best not to piss away all my money. Every single thing is shifted into their favour to the point where they just limit your bets and tell you what you can bet on. I know I'm not telling you guys anything you don't know but **** it annoys me.
