Welcome to this Round 8 clash of BigFooty's own, inaugural 2020 e-AFL season.
North Melbourne (13th, 3-4, 86.89%) vs Hawthorn (3rd, 5-2, 104.10%)
Friday 24th April 7.30pm EST
Bouncing back from a 100+ point thrashing from Fremantle in Round 6 was never going to be easy, and North found the resurgent Tigers too tough, losing by 65 points in Round 7. North need to find the form that led to early wins, or coach The Filth Wizard may be under the pump. Perhaps the Friday night lights will spark them into action? It doesn’t get better for the Hawks than beating the Bombers, and despite patchy form leading in, they recorded a 35 point win. Jon Patton’s 25 goals, and strong midfield form from Ricky Henderson and James Worpel, have the Hawks humming as they aim to strengthen their hold on a finals spot. Coach SarahSmiles will be expecting a win here?
Key matchup: Ruckmen Todd Goldstein and Jon Ceglar are both top 10 for hitouts, and the one who gets on top here will lead their club to victory
Key statistics
Last Lost to Richmond 49-114 / Defeated Essendon 102-67

TIP: Cannot see North turning this around by enough to topple the consistent Hawks. Hawthorn by 30
