Nah mate

Nah mate, I’m talking like you won’t win a flag in the next couple of years, and after that, times up. You’re just not that good. Case in point, today’s game against a side only just turning the corner you desperately needed some extraordinary umpire intervention to get you over line.
We had like 7 players come off with injuries during the game, had Cripps and Kennedy in the ruck vs Xerri at times and are currently in a form slump... Yet we won by 20...

I'll take that over fighting for 17th spot with Richmond after 5 years of being bottom of the barrel.

Another one who would prefer to bag Carlton/umpires rather than give the club he supports credit for a good performance.

Bit like your namesake and the Mariners?

Oh dear. Have you even followed Carlton over the last twenty years?

pfftt - north.

Thanks for the win.

We played so badly - only against north could we win.

North have literally won 2 flags since you last won yours 30 odd years ago, and have finished bottom 3 times less than Carlton.

They have you covered in the afl era.
And yet here we are sitting in 2nd spot while North is 2nd last still... After 4 years of doing so.

We have a good list (Not a great list) that should be set up to contend for a flag over the next 3-4 years with some tinkering and good luck needed along the way. North are where we were 6 years ago.

In no world is that HTB. Even with the tighter interpretation. If that had been called against North for the Blues, this place would be in even more meltdown.
Picks up the ball and is immediately tackled as he's kicking. Play on every day of the week.

Of course there is no conspiracy with the umpiring. The issue is that nobody knows how the **** the rules are supposed to be "interpreted" including the umpires.
Four umpires is only beneficial if they are all singing from the same song sheet. It becomes a negative (and completely infuriating to supporters) having four umps if they are all paying them differently.

So what? You may be going better over the past couple of years but you haven't really achieved anything. And calling a team cellar dwellers who have had 3 less wooden spoons than Carlton and 2 more premierships since their last is a bit rich.

It ended with a throw. It's the one handed disposal that has an upward throwing motion.
So what do you call Kennedy getting tackled and dropping it?

Plays for Carlton and it’s in North’s F50, so play on.

The funny thing it wasn’t the worst decision of the day. Jesse Motlop wins that award for the free in front of goal when no one makes contact with you.

As opposed to calling us kissed on the dick cheats? It goes both ways Beema.

North fans and 'neutrals' who despise Carlton screeching about umpires and how **** our list is and all the rest of it... What are you expecting Carlton fans to do? Just sit there and agree?

Can understand your sympathy for them considering you will be overtaking their mantle as the shittest team in the comp soon if not already under Yze and in a comp that has a current day Eagles in it that is no mean feat.

Tiger supporters are just about to be put asleep again for another 5 decades and no one cares about you or your team.

It's the media/commentators fault - the rule itself is so basic and they keep getting it wrong (like the umpires). If you have prior you have to legally dispose of it BUT if you don't have prior all you have to do is make a genuine attempt. Commentators still don't get the second part

This is an over-simplification, the issue is what is considered "prior" is different in 2024 than it was in 2023, which in itself is different to what it was 5 years ago.

You don't have to answer to me but at least you are being honest about your fellow supporters being disengenuous 😉

Hardly - we're 2nd on the ladder - you're not making much sense.

A Trolling Richmond fan - lol.
They have a few and notice that Jordanoirjab bloke or whatever he calls himself has been non existent lately?

Kennedy picks it up and immediately goes to kick it - how much faster can he possibly make an attempt? The change in interpretation has not even been around prior opportunity - it is about the "make a genuine attempt" part of the rule.
