He's just snapped a goal from the boundary when a few seconds earlier he was literally flat on his arse winning a contested ball while keeping it in play. Why wouldnt you be pleased with your work? And the fact that he turns to the Adelaide fans to celebrate so that they can share in his moment. Great entertainer.

Lloyd's goal was the Woewodin Brownlow of the GOTY. Or the Priddis Brownlow, whichever is worse.
Imagine showing a foreigner Lloyd's goal and telling them it was the greatest one kicked in an entire season. Way to embarrass the sport.

Loved Eddie's goal but even as a card-carrying Geelong hater, I thought Hawkins' goal was better. Lumbering bison kicks a bouncing ball off the deck, from well outside 50... come off it, what a goal! It's just a shame he wasn't in front of a full G, the reaction would've been awesome.
