Interesting read all this, sadly junior sport brings out the best and worst in the people that it actually shouldn't even matter to ... the bloody parents.

Young kids umpiring young kids in theory seems good, but that lower age of development is where the communication needs to be clearer, as in experienced officials explaining to all our little Johnies why the whistle went.

Yes Doona correct.

Put simply Junior sport is about enjoyment and encouragement. Teaching skills and building friendships.

A coach greatest thrill should be to see kids grow, improve and develop and maintain that respect/friendship.

Not about winning or teaching kids to hit opposition kids and laugh and encourage that type of unruly behaviour.

Premierships at the low junior levels last a few weeks when seeing kids improve and grow into better footballers/people last for years..

Anyone on here from Jags or Haddy?? Wondering how Keilor Park have preformed. I know they have been beaten easy but are they having a dip and staying positive and most importantly enjoying the game. Seen many a club struggling Become undisciplined so just interested that’s all..
Stay strong KP as it will only get better..

Watched Haddy yesterday. Thought they could pull it off. No 3 and no 30 were in everything for Haddy. Not so sure Sunbury deserve premiership favourite though. Then again long season. Well done Haddy to overcome their challenges last two years. They still have away to go but great performance yesterday and could have pulled off a big upset, and probably should have.

Missed a couple of easy set shots early and one very late in the game which might have got them over the line in the end..

Watched a Cracking game at Haddy yesterday
Very good too see them doing well again maybe the kangaroos aren’t the dominant force we all thought they were

Glad to see Haddy playing some good footy after a couple of tough years. They have got some extra grunt this year, hope they continue doing well
