My theory is that Glenroy and Hillside are top 2. Would those two side beat Westy and OP from last year.
I'm saying that neither team gets close to OP, maybe Hillside beats Westy but it's a 50-50 contest. Glenroy would struggle against both teams.
If you look at the players that aren't in Divy 1 this year I'd say 15-20 out of the top 40 players from last year aren't playing anymore.

There are probably more just can't think of them at the moment
I'm surprised you would think Hillside might beat West Meadows side from last year but Glenroy wouldn't when Glenroy are on top and clearly were the better team when the 2 sides met earlier in the year . Glenroy have been clearly the best team all year other than a hiccup against Tulla last outing in which they had 4 of there best 22 missing that day . Bennie , Willox , Capuano , Carruthers and lost Trembearth before halftime

You could argue that TM have been the best side all year other than a hicup earlier in the year, had them on toast and went to sleep

Time will tell Billy. Glenroy yet to play Hadfield for a second time and has a percentage nearly equal to Hillside and fair bit better than Tulla .The most potent forward line in the comp and 1 more win than both Tulla and Hillside . Tulla may have had them on toast but lost by 6 goals with Glenroy missing their 2 key forwards in Winter and J. Walker.

It's hard to get a gauge, when them two didn't play they beat TM when they did play TM beat them
Flip a coin between TM Roy's and HS

Your a Tulla person. Are your new recruits better or equal to
Laurie, brockwell, burns, A Scott and Doyle.
Scott and Laurie missed most of the 2nd half of the year.
Mulvaney, barresi, Robinson all talented young players under the age of 22. Add the return of harward who was overseas last season and tullamarine have managed to completely rebuild their list with young players while not falling down the ladder

Top 4 looks just about locked in looking at the fixture and the current ladder positions. Glenroy seem to be the clear favourite at this stage of the season but as we all know finals is a different ball game

Other than Laurie who isn't replaceable, absolutely they are and they are batting a lot deeper than last year
If Tulla somehow win the flag and go up next year, they will get beat routinely by 200 points, and most likely shut the doors. If you don't think otherwise, then you're definitely looking at it thru one eye.

Did u attend Overland Reserve today Billy? Surely your boys are just freshening up for a premiership tilt starting by smacking Windside next week?

A lot of Glenroy players, coaches and supporters came back into the Hillside rooms after their game 2 weeks ago and the majority of them in club colours..From all reports they stay for a while due to the hospitality shown by the host club to a group of supporters. Appears to be a good relationship between the 2 clubs.. Great to see this happen...

who is best placed to grab 4th spot for finals.

TL - Glenroy, Bye
APW - Hillside, Bye
OP - EK, Tulla
EK - OP, West

EK & OP have to win both games & hope TL lose & drop percentage

APW have to win & TL lose & close 8%

Any maths wizards how much winning/losing margins can close 8-10% percentage.

Taylor's Lakes are in the box seat for 4th spot. I can't see A/W beating Hillside or oak park or EK making up 8% and winning both games. Lakes would need to cop a hiding from Glenroy this week.

Its the way it should be fierce competition on the ground but once the final siren goes its in for a beer or 2 life is to short if any angst is taken off the ground. Good on these clubs for leading from the front. Back in the old days we always hung around for a few beers win lose or draw drink driving was such a huge issue as it is today either Lol

Glenroy and East Keilor did it at Airport West. APW give a six pack to the opposition best on ground.

Yeah Hillside and East Keilor also give out the 6 pack. Not sure which other clubs do it.
The game Hillside played Glenroy both captains were presented with a signed 1/2 & 1/2 jumper to mark the pink day for violence against women. Both sides signed the jumper. Great initiative by Hillside and Glenroy..

What is going on down at Tulla?
Few weeks ago the coach is sacked which is player driven going into a game agaisnt the ladder leader Roys. To the credit of the players the rallied together and got the job done agaisnt I must say a deplated Roys outfit.

I would of thought the thats all the Tulla jagger naught needed to get going then loose in a low scoring scrappy afair to EK then I hear that there was a physical altercation between David Scott and Marcus and Lachlan Smith Saturday night with the possibility of Marcus Smith not returning to the club? That would be a huge blow to the Demons if that were the case
