Its all to do with the private schools

Party, I’d say it’s more got to do with the talent in the north west region not as good as it was 10-15 years ago, due to various factors. Also calder is not as well run as it used to be and western jets is by far the worst talent league operation, coupled with the weakest region for talent. Northern knights, eastern, stingrays still very strong clubs with a lot of their boys not in the aps system.

He'll be playing most of the year with Deer Park with anything and will be called up to play VFL on the odd occasion. When playing VFL he'll be carried by the AFL listed players he's playing with.

I know of a very talented youth that played at Douttas til about 15 then has had 3 clubs in 3 years, at Pacco this season. And I can assure you it’s all his father’s delusions

Not as bad a a young man now who’s would have played at 10 junior clubs and now probably approaching that in senior clubs. Every single year new club gets talked about on here here every single year

The Pacco ones all leave before getting to Seniors and they were poached! Can’t fake history and culture.
Basically r*ped West Coburg 18’s this season as well, if Tudor and Saad can manage to start bringing them through then you could suggest it.

pacco didnt rape west coburg u18s. 5 from 2022 grand final team went to coburg districts including dual bnf and also league leading goal scorer .cd won flag. 6 went to moonee valley who were in top 2 most of year. says it all really. thats called a talent drain.

I watched him 2 or 3 times playing for Pt cook this year and he barely touched it. He’s very small which doesn’t help him, can’t see him doing much in premier

So hisham kerbatieh is at pascoe vale lol..thought his playing his 3rd year at Sunshine football club..the kid who is now a man is like 26 and blokes like you keep talking about him..hhhhh..quite amusing really. Played at paco for 2 years under 12s and 14s like over a decade ago. Was a star junior footballer etc etc etc..so who is the footballer that you are referring to from Douttas to pacco.. and thats what fathers do..they are always looking out for their sons..right or wrong? They are dads..

Often to the detriment of their son’s football. It’s not about the Dad, the Dad doesn’t win or have success through his son.
Some of the examples above are the extreme version, and not good for the game or the kids.
Good luck to Hish, the only time you ever hear anything about him is this time of year. His football stop talking years ago

Just pointed out example of someone I watched play in TAC cup & never thought he could reach any great Vfl heights but he proved me wrong.

if he played midfield his disposal numbers would be higher, Ave 21 disposals for a def is solid.

Couple of posters were talking him down, just thought I would give example it’s not out of possibility he can succeed at Vfl level.

ROOS77 you need to proof read before you hit the post reply button. Your replies consistently make zero sense. I am sure if a guy was good enough to captain the western jets and to play vfl for the bulldogs they would have something serious to offer in the EDFL. It is one thing to be anti Deer Park but you are really making a fool of yourself at times. Be better ROOS77, not bitter.

In regard to Hish I offer the following. Hish needs to understand that football is a team game and that running out onto the field is not an audition for the Australian Dancesport Champiochips male solo cha cha. Hish you need to pass, handball, shepherd and defend in this game called football. The game is not about one spectacular looking event amongst 13 individual failures as a result of individuality. In saying that he is a lovely fellow.

Heard that Deer Park will announce ex AFL player Hayden Crozier as a new signing - another bloke obviously looking to play for the jumper due to his long history with the club rather than the tens of thousands of $$$$$

Only recruit thats VFL affiliated is Jed Brereton. Not sure if Mick Edwards is playing VFL in 2024 either

Obvious ones on VFL lists in 2024 will be Flynn Gentile, Maluwal and potentially Isaac Cullen
