Did I say that? I answered the question about premierships as a matter of success as that was a indication given by someone else. There are a number of ways to measure success. Some clubs leave Abers, Keilor, Greenvale and EDS in the dark when it comes to culture and celebrates aboriginal heritage. For me APW have it in spades, but they aren't successful in the top division.

2 flags this century and 2 of last 3 lol. We have 3 overall compared to EDS's zero. There was a club called something else that won a few church leagues and have never gotten over it but they no longer exist

Of course that doesn't include all the underage and 18s flags that abers have won

As it happens 2 flags this century will be the same number of relegations your club will have this century so u may want to stop asking silly questions

Both the original hearing and appeal found there was absolutely no cheating, but whatever helps you and the Greenvale coach sleep at night. Sometimes its easier to deflect than face up to your own inadequacies.

Lets move away from banter and onto football. The flag is keilors to lose with Strathmore the biggest challenger assuming abers don't sneak in. Marby look to be another year away imho but should win a final.

3 of the 4 games are at the cow paddock that is Marby Park which is something they seem to play well. I think they'll go 2-2 Paccoe and Greenvale wins and Keilor and Abers as the losses. A big win vs Glenroy to finish and they finish 13-5 and make it in 3rd.

Strathmore and Keilor top 2 with Greenvale 4th and Abers missing out.

The way this league is though I've probably gotten everything wrong and Marby miss out, Abers will finish top and Paccoe will some how make it.

Gotta love the EDFL.

Abers and Greenvale going around with a lot lower points than Keilor, Strathmore and Marby. Those three playing at low 40's though so do have some room.
Without doing much research I automatically think of Browne and McIntosh, they'll both need to be back soon if they are to make any impact in the finals. Hear Cavka is pushing to return, he'd have to be an outsider to get back. Again would need games under his belt. Marby would no doubt want Kempster back in a hurry. Do Greenvale get back Deluca, 1 X Maric, 1 X Caruso. Reimers back last week is he still in Abers best 22, heard Tony Pies profits went through the roof during his layoff.
Hope this creates a bit of discussion about the actual on field stuff.

There is a difference between building a list to compete and a list for sustainability though. Are they recruiting the right blokes? A lot of blokes on BIG coin.
How much have they put into their under 19 program? They seem to be getting pumped every week - how many 19s have played senior footy?

Is paying an uninterested Lachie Hansen overs better than paying 2 young, hungry maybe ex-VFL/Tac Cup kids good coin?

They're constantly at the top of the spending chain yet never the top of the table?
