Am putting together a phantom draft which is always a lot of fun to do. I am not an expert so I thought Id visit individual team boards and ask the BF community members who know their teams best.

Thus far I have Weitering, Schache, Mills + Parish taken out of the pool. Im thinking you bid on Hopper here (less sure on Kennedy). Do you guys force GWS twice?

As for non-academy selections I think you guys go best available. For me thats Francis + Curnow but Id like to know what you guys think.

You are right in a way, he is not Judd so there is nothing to say he is an absolute lock to be great at 4/5.

If you have us taking one of:
Francis, Weideman, Curnow, Oliver or Parish (likely be at the Dees).
Most won't argue with you.

Although I'm not a fan of how long the wait is, I think the length is there so each club can get to interview/meet with players families/speak with friends etc. to get an accurate understanding of who the potential draftee is etc.

Well it's mainly programmed so that he draft falls after yr12 exams have concluded - its seen as being less of a distraction for these guys in yr12 to find out where they are going after their last exam

Lock and load Francis. Close between Weideman/Curnow/Oliver/Milera however I'll go with Weideman.

Should play everyone twice making it a 34 game season with 2 bye rounds and finals so footy is on for close to 42 weeks then we only have to fit trade weeks and the draft in a 10 week window.

Can't say on the Adelaide front, but I can tell you that he has demanded to stay in Australia.
