So they've got too many picks, but don't want to trade a couple of high ones for pick 1. I think this opinion might slowly be shifting. Also, listening to that, I think we might have gotten our fingers into some Jaeger pie. Tony sounds scared.
*remember that rumor that we've already lured a player from an interstate club to come to us.
Definitely looks more likely. Now assuming the meeting with O'Meara's management took place (if he'd already agreed to join us), maybe it was less of selling the club, etc. and more of working out contract details and sorting the finer details of the PSD move.

Holy shit another player!.

The article states that Cochrane referred to the entire GC list as "disloyal" - his entire 'all gun's blazing' strategy isn't working, in fact it's having quite the opposite effect.

What is g coasts training regime I mean seriously how many players now have/had serious almost career ending injuries?!.

What's weird is that GC doctors tell David Swallow that his knee is wrecked, but he goes and sees the North Melb doctor who tells him it can be sorted in a few weeks...what's with that?!

Says that Gold Coasts medical/physio team are shit. I wonder if they're qualified...

With having so many and potentially a few more picks now in the top 30,I wouldn't think half of the players they get via draft will want to go there either!.

I think we should grab Lynch in the fire sale ;)
Could you imagine if he said "Right Suns, I'm walking next year"? Seriously though it's pretty damning that a bloke once touted as their future captain (Swallow) now seem's a lock to walk out on the Suns either this year or next, says a lot for how far downhill the culture/environment has gone after Cochrane took over.

I wonder if due diligence was applied before hiring them
I know right, I reckon their interviews process went something like this:
GCS: "So what're qualifications and level of experience?"
Interviewee: "Well...I put a band-aid on my finger when I got a paper cut once..."
GCS: "Congratulations you're hired, you are now our chief medico."
Interviewee: "Yayyy...Just one question, does the job involve dealing with soft tissue injuries, broken bones, etc.?"
GCS: "Well obviously..."
Interviewee: "Awesome!" *stands up and walks out* "Oh I'm so going to fail at this job I don't know anything about that stuff..."

His main reference would have to been a Mr Dank

SEN apparently reporting Chris Mayne to Norf as good as done.

They need a rebuild and they want to take on mid 20's spuds...

Keep Norfing along Norf

Mayne is 28 or 29 - Madness.

Knowing family of a player at the dogs I can confirm he is an arrogant pig, good player but, I would love him at Essendon he would be a good foil for Daniher

Stringer is a midfielder - Get him fitter and he will produce the goods.

I'd trade pick 1 for stringer in a heartbeat.

yaco55 does stringer tick the elite box?

Nowhere near being elite - A good footballer who SHOULD end up being a very good player - Reckon he's a midfielder.
