One minute to go in a cliff hanging knock em down drag em out last man standing sudden death final... and Huddo'd rather check on how his Uber Eats order is tracking.

Jeez Huddo used to be one of my favourite callers - what does it say about what kind of bloke he is if he can take his eyes off that play at that moment?!

We did some ballsy kicks late. Berry with a beauty to Zorko one of them.

Zac Bailey also very important in the scrap last 5 mins.

You can see the media in this clip are fully engaged in the contest and had some accurate calls

If people have another look at the Channel 7 last 2 minutes you will hear BT put his foot in mouth again

With 21 seconds to go BT says "still plenty of time"
Maybe just got a little tongue tied as 9 seconds prior he said "they have got 30 seconds to get it done the Tigers"
Who was the guy in the background going off towards the end? ahahahah. I want to hear a replay of that coverage.

Did anyone comment on the Richmond song that was played for few brief moments after the win? Even the Gabba staff didn’t expect us to win last night😂

Just got around to watching the 2 coaches after game press conferences
You could put it down to one coach won the game and the other didn't

However i did feel Hardwick gave the impression they should have won and deserved to win that game
Put the ARC decision back on the journalist to judge for themselves.
Then suggested goal umpires should just make the decisions, "that is what they are paid for" he says.
Hardwick looked very stressed. Twirling touching both his hands throughout the interview

Fagan says
" Richmond did not deserve to lose and neither did we"
On Lynch & ARC: "did not know" (goal/point). After decision "relieved it was a point and gave us a chance"
.....
I think Lynch just messed up kicking for goal. Maybe a little arragant thinking on his part knowing it was a fairly easy shot

He was not far out at all, and the angle was not bad especially for a seasoned accurate goal kicker
In my opinion he had three choices and chose the one that had the highest risk of missing
1- Around the corner kick which opens up the angle heaps. But would be on his non preferred left foot.
He would practice this shot regularly on both feet. Also preferred by the vast majority playing today
2-A straight drop punt from not a bad angle but the angle was not favouring his preferred right foot
3- The one he chose. Banana on preferred foot but ball drop has to be spot on
Hardwick put both hands through walls. You could see the cuts on both sets of knuckles.

Watched the game again and the last couple of minutes of the game was exceptional surge and pressure footy from us, Matho, Zorks, Coleman, Bailey were superb in tight, some of which you wouldn't have got a stat for.
Diving punch off the ground by Bailey saved the day I think...he had a physically strong game....came of age last night.

Bailey and Cameron up forward is the best small forward duo in the competition IMO, Bailey was great through the middle of the ground as well but love him spending a good percentage of his time running forward.

Really like Bailey as a high half forward, let him run wherever he can get dangerous in the same way Bolton does.

Having been a very long time footy watchers from way back we thought last nights match was the best game we have watched for a long time -Eagles Premierships wins aside. Both teams just went at it full bore. and we really like the so called chaos balls - Great description.
The footy world will never get rid of Vic bias in all things in footy take it from us.

I was interested in how many of our players had not played in a final
Turns out only Wilmot has not been exposed to a final from the team last night

Also Fort has not played in a final and most likely comes in next week

Both Rayner (likely inclusion) and Answerth (possible inclusion) have both been exposed to a final
They just said on the broadcast for the Melb v Syd game tonight that Daly said they're not sure if they'll actually play Fort as they seemed to really like the mix with McStay in the ruck. Obviously he wouldn't win hitouts but they really liked how he was essentially a ruck midfielder who could then naturally drift forward and become a threat up forwards and become a difficult matchup to deal with as a coach. Also midfielders can change how they setup and approach stoppages if they sort of know they're going to lose the hitouts anyways.

Although Fages did say in the presser last night that Darcy Fort will be pulled from the reserves game and come in for Oscar, they could have had a deeper think about in the cold light of day this morning though.

Camerons goal at the start of the 4th qtr was one of the best i've seen. Flushed it

Basically every goal Charlie kicked was one of the best I’ve seen

Yeah and he has been pulled from that game. Apparently this was them having a deeper think and they'll make the decision in the next couple of days. Feel bad for Fort if he misses. He'd miss both the VFL final tomorrow and the AFL final next week. Imo, we look much better with 2 tall forwards and the rest a mixup between small and medium forwards but I also don't think picking Fort is an incorrect decision however if they do I believe the focus would be on pushing McStay much further up the ground WAY more often and that could be the focus in training next week if they make that decision.

Yep I'd be happy which ever way they go really... Oh and welcome to Big Footy sage:thumbsu:.

I think Fort will play with McStay relief
What may happen is instead of the 70/30 split it may be closer to 60/40
Doubt they go 50/50
